About Cantalici Winery

Cantalici was born in the Antica Fornace di Ridolfo, from a family business and from the love for the Chianti Classico hills, which are our home.
In 1998 we wanted to make our own products and wines (available in the online shop), and take advantage of all the experience gained over many years in which we shared sunrises with black roosters and sunsets with a bunches of grapes ready for the Chianti Classico harvest.
From March to November possibility of tastings and tours of the cellar (online reservations).

We really enjoyed our wine tasting…
We really enjoyed our wine tasting experience at Cantalici Winery. We were greeted by spectacular views on our way there. When we arrived it was a bit unclear where we needed to go. Staff was super attentive and found us right away and welcomed us with kindness as they sat us at our tasting table.
The tasting room was small and fitted roughly 8 groups at a time.
The wines were throughly explained to us and we opted for 6 tastings.
Our palettes leaned more towards the rose and the Classico.
We were sad to learn that we weren’t able to buy and ship back home to Canada because we wanted to share our experience with family and friends back home.
We met other travellers there and had great conversations.
I would highly recommend this winery with great tastes and amazing service and views. 10/10 for us. Thank you.

Excellent tasting
Excellent tasting. We paid for a charcuterie platter between us which was good value and the setting and wines were great. A really enjoyable experience and we left with a good haul of wine and some of their beautiful olive oil.

Great place to visit
Me and my husband chose the winestasting + tour and it was great. The guide was very knowledgeable, nice and helpful. He created a comfortable atmosphere which made it feel like we ate visiting friends.He also was the one who was in charge of the tasting and again he had a lot of knowledge about the wines and the region. The winery it’s self is small but nice and the surroundings woth the wine yards, olive groves and mountains are beautiful. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely recommend visiting this winery.

My family and I had a wonderful time
My family and I had a wonderful experience at Cantalici! I liked meeting the son of the owner and hearing his explanation and passion for all the wines they produce there. This is a newer winery but because of that, you get to see a more realistic approach to wine making. It’s not a huge production, that I appreciated. Make sure to sample their whole array, all are quality.

Formidable tour and tasting!
It was a rainy day, and we enjoyed the tour but foremost the tasting. We tasted 6 wines and vin santo, accompanied by a huge platter with all kinds of meat, pecorino cheese, crostini, grilled vegetables, chicken liver and more. A good way to spend a rainy day!

Fantastic Tour of Wine and delicious Food
Me and My Wife, loved this place! We got there early and we were welcomed, told to take any pictures we would like, walk around the area and it was neat seeing the workers with the bottling process while waiting as well.
Tour was great very informative.
Will definitely return if we return back to the Tuscany/Siena Region

Excellent experience
Excellent experience, really tasty wine and the host really knew her stuff. Fantastic knowledge of the wine and processes behind it but also put a funny twist on it so wasn’t overly serious which we loved. Would definitely recommend.
