NO customer service and bad quality…
Absolutely the worst customer service ever. A canvas arrived that was a present For someone who had just passed away, so I wanted to return it. This guy offers no courier service for returns and I didn’t know how to do it, due to being bereaved, I couldn’t concentrate. I asked him to arrange a return and deduct it from refund. He wouldn’t and made things so difficult for me at this sad time. I had to work it out and pay for the return myself. He clearly had no compassion for my situation. I even told him I had no transport to post it. Only for Etsy intervening he would of got away with it. ABSOLUTE SHAMEFUL., doesn’t deserve any custom at all

This review is not what actually happened at all.
The customer ordered an artwork and the day it was delivered she got in touch to say her mother has passed away. Apparently it was intended for her.
We accepted the return without hesitation.
We politely explained to the customer that we could not organise a return pick up from her address with our courier, because DHL had taken that facility off our account at the start of covid (presumably to keep their drivers safe with minimum contact with the general public) and they have not added it back on since.
What we did do though, was give a step by step solution to the customer as to how to organise a pickup at her doorstep to return. Which would have taken her less than 5 minutes to do.
Instead she started talking about contacting consumer rights and ADR schemes?
She says “Only for Etsy intervening he would of got away with it”
That’s not what happened. After being threatened with consumer rights (which we had not broken) it was *OUR* suggestion that she should get in touch with Etsy. Which she did.
Etsy then told her it was her responsibly to return at her cost.
We even extended the returns period for her to do so, (which we did not have to do, but given the situation we did), and this review is the thanks we get for doing that.
We will look after each and everyone of our customers. Sometimes though, I think it is our right to reply with the actual facts.
