Thank you to Capacity Building International for making this course available for all! Having recently been introduced to supporting the NATO mission and efforts, this course not only answered several questions that I had, it has definitely increased my ability to be a better partner and champion to all international, US, and state and local emergency response and recovery partners. The workload is adequate and can be successfully completed while working a (more than) full time job. I appreciate that resiliency is a cornerstone tenant of this course. Well done and highly recommend this course! Something to garner for all disaster professionals. We all face similar challenges and obstacles, this course will help you better understand, we are all in this together. I also appreciate the opportunity to work with international EM students. Wealth of knowledge and experience throughout the student and instructor population while participating.

This course is very well structured in content and execution method, allowing to follow the lessons in a fluid and personalized way. Attention to the student is very high. This course allows to understand well how NATO interacts in its aspects of management and response to crises and disasters, how it coordinates with member countries and with humanitarian and non-humanitarian organisations. It is very interesting and useful for those who want to specifically delve into the issues of disaster response at NATO level. The exercises allow you to practically understand what was explained in the lessons and the interactions between students make everything more interesting. I recommend this course.

I have just completed the NATO "Crisis Management and Disaster Response" course provided by “Capacity Building International” in an online interactive platform, and I must confess it was an enriching experience.
The course provided me with a comprehensive understanding of crisis and disaster management, and how NATO responds to international crises and conducts crisis response operations. I learned how decisions are made within NATO, UN, and EU, and how to navigate complex situations, make informed choices, and build a solid foundation in global security and collaboration.

The instructors were knowledgeable and did an excellent job of keeping us engaged throughout the course. The content was interesting and captivating, leaving us excited to discover what's next!

Worth to note that assignments were really challenging, but the observations and comments by the instructors were delivered timely to support learners during the learning path. Consequently, the experience was extremely helpful in analyzing simulation cases where all efforts have been put to find adequate solutions and recommendations.

The course also provides anyone able to achieve it successfully, with a unique NATO certification, which is a seal of excellence conveying dedication to high standards in crisis and disaster management. I would highly recommend this course to anyone looking to broaden their global perspective and deepen their understanding of crisis and disaster management.

In a nutshell, there are lots to learn from a global experience, especially that this course shares best practices, and adequate solutions across cultures and professions with the objective to make our societies more resilient. In one way that's what NATO is doing, in collaboration with the global community working towards the same goal.
