This company, despite flashy profiling, turned out to be a one man show based in Morocco.
Our first hint that this was not going to work was through a financial scheme suggested to go through an unregulated entity although activity is regulated in the relevant jurisdiction, with unclear deliverables and roles in the presented transaction. As such, despite trying to clarify the service and financial product, we had to cancel all further engagement. The stiff upfront fee was not refunded. Impossible to recommend further.
The acquisition had been stuck for months. Capitalista stepped in, mapped out the obstacles, and negotiated directly with all stakeholders. We closed on time, under budget, and with stronger terms than originally offered.
