Liars who don't credit rewards

Absolutely garbage. Did everything required to qualify for a reward, yet they won't credit my account. Don't bother trying to find customer service - I found a phone number and called, just to be condescended to by an unprofessional representative who didn't know what I was asking for and was too busy trying to talk over me to listen. Avoid avoid avoid.

No staff support; they'll steal your info and refuse to pay out

I received a message on my account that gave out a $40 incentive for downloading Capital One Shopping. I never received the incentive on the account, and when I e-mailed support, I was sent exactly the same copy pasted response twice from what I am guessing is their AI tech support named Jeff. I am digusted this was handled in such a way. Not only was the bonus not paid out, there was not actual staff support.

I have changed my email to a different company. Capitalone shopping has no means of changing my email. Therefore all my discounts and purchases cannot be verified. I am unable to contact them as the email address i was given is not a valid address. Beware

Deals are not worth it.

They send out deals that look good but try and get your discount. It is almost impossible. Try Contacting Capital One Shopping. Again, almost impossible. Do not use this app. it is very frustrating and you do not get the discount. Also, if you contact Capital One for help, you are not going to get it. Total waste of time.

This service is a disaster

This service is a disaster. The extension will clearly tell you you're getting cash back then it never shows up. If you contact customer service, they repeatedly send a form letter saying you have to wait one YEAR before they're willing to look into the problem for you. They're rude and totally unhelpful. Definitely don't buy anything assuming the cash back will work. Better to stick with Rakuten.

Missing transactions, pain in the .......

Missing transactions, offer big rewards for shopping at a store only to find no history of the transaction. After purchase emails showing savings you could have had, if you just would have searched a day or 2 in advance of when you needed something. I BELIEVE THEY MAKE MONEY BY SELLING OUR SHOPPING HABITS.

They Could Care Less About Their Customers

BEWARE OF CAPITAL ONE SHOPPING!! Back in the end of January my account was hacked. Someone bought a gift card from my savings but fortunately the gift cards only gets sent to you as the customer. Bad thing is that Capital One Shopping will not take back nor credit your account as a credit card would. They say they are not the same division as the credit card and once your card is bought, it is bought. So....come to March and I thought I'd give my niece the information to use for her birthday. The gift card could then not be accessed, even though it was never used . They don't care and are not willing to help even though I had been hacked. They keep giving the same rote answer and do not either read nor respond to anything that you may write in your email. Why then even have customer service? They are horrible!!! I have removed the extension and app. When I called the company that the gift card was from, they were as nice and helpful as could be. It was actually Seohora and I was told that this wasn't the first time that they've heard this. Sephora customer service took the time and guided me in another way as to how I could open the card another way.
5 emails back and forth with COS.. AWFULL!!!

Capital One Shopping is a scam site

They give you the rewards on various coupons but when you go to the store to redeem the Store tells you your coupon is locked. When you try and contact customer no service you get meaningless emails that take forever and no results or solution. I believe this is just a scam to get consumer habits and sell them.

I got an offer for $50 off a $150 purchase at Brooks shoes. After clicking on the link and buying a pair for $167, I was never discounted or credited for the $50. (The shoes were not an exclusion from the offer)

They literally stole a private one time…

They literally stole a private one time use coupon code that was given exclusively to me as an ExpertVoice member and posted it for anybody to use on the website so when I tried using it, it was already claimed! Seriously shady levels of tracking and invasion of privacy just to sometimes get a better deal on things - not a good trade off for me.

Sign up bonus never credited. Customer support useless

I signed up with the initial $80 offer. Fast forward about 6 months, I emailed them to ask why it hadn't been credited to my account, and received a reply about a week later saying I was "ineligible" for a number of reasons that may or may not apply.
I reached back out to ask which of the terms I had violated, and I received the same email. Horribly disappointed. I will never be getting a capital one credit card

Capital One Shopping is a joke

Capital One Shopping is a joke. Tens, if not hundreds of emails with amazing deals but every time I click on a link I am for some reason never eligible for a deal so instead of getting 50 or hundred dollars back they offer a one percent back which of course I never see anyway. don’t waste your time and delete the opportunity to get emails from them.

Have been trying for a WEEK to redeem $94 in a Chewy gift card. Says my phone number of decades is already in use. Help “fixes” it. Same thing happens again!!!!

The App “help” is no help. Problem appears to be with a poor App.

This is absolutely unacceptable and Better Business Bureau complaint is next!

total fake

none of my shopping trips is eligible for the rewards. I sent email to customer service, they didn't investigate at all, but just sent me this general email saying "Bonus limits apply to the specific type of Bonus Offer. You are limited to one active Bonus Offer per type (e.g., one Hotel Bonus, one Events Bonus, one Home Page Bonus, etc.) per account. Unless otherwise stated, Bonus Offers are limited availability, expire, and specifically tied to your individual account. As these are unique to your account, they cannot be shared or transferred to other accounts. To qualify for a reward, the spend requirement must be met by the order subtotal only. This includes the cost of non-excluded items after all discounts and promo codes are applied, and excludes taxes and shipping fees."

Invalid gift card

They gave me a code for a gift card for staples.com, but it doesn't work. I've told them repeatedly that they gave me a 19 digit code but staples.com only accepts 16 digit codes. They keep saying they can't help me.
