Not my debt

Keep emailing me for someone else’s account from a do not reply address Certainly not mine. The biggest annoyance is you cannot get through to them at all as it’s an automated system and no option for my query

Have emailed me twice about a debt with klarna however I do now owe anything to klarna I have confirmed this with them! If this is to continue with false information I will be filing for harassment!!!!

3 Letters in one day......co incidence - not possible....

Just spoken to Rachel Marshall @ Capital Resolve.
Yes! I declared the car sorn late. No, I had no letter by the DVLA, I received yesterday 3 letters from Capital Resolve....in one go!!!
and I can prove it!!!! dated : 6.3/18.3/26.03.2025 how is that possible ??? It sounds dodgy to me, that must be by purpose.......
Rachel Marshall wanted me to sort it with the DVLA,-how should they know, how and when Capital Resolve post their letters, and I should contact her again, as the DVLA would not inform Capital Resolve ? Sorry i got no contract with Capital Resolve, it's the debt collector that DVLA is using. I paid it today - and call it DVLA fees.... as I got more important things to do. I would have had to pay 40 GBP anyhow to DVLA by Law....

Now, I had a email to supply more information.....here we are: Case DV2351231 / Client 50049935

04.04.25 15.01 still no reply of Capital Resolve...

I finally received the answer on the bottom today today 14.04.25

My final response:

Thank you for your reply, it makes no sense to mess around with the DVLA, I don't have the time.

I'll book it as a donation to the UK government.

We got a saying: the money you have been conned out of is the money you've best invested. You gain wisdom immediately.

I learned my lesson.

I'll register my next company vehicles in Germany and drive them according to the legal rules from Germany to the UK and back.

In that case I'll just pay the vehicle costs in Germany, they need money aswell...

We’re sorry to hear about the confusion and frustration caused by receiving three letters on the same day. We want to reassure you that the letters were correctly dated and issued separately on the dates there were produced in line with our usual process. We do not send multiple letters at the same time on purpose, as that would go against our commitment to clear and fair communication.

However, delays and batching by Royal Mail can occasionally result in multiple letters arriving at once, even though they were posted on different dates. Unfortunately, that part of the process is outside our control.

Our Advisor recommended that you contact DVLA because during your call you stated that you were unhappy as you had not received the original notification from our client and that DVLA deal with any appeals directly. As a debt resolution agency acting on their behalf, we are unable to process appeals, these need to be directed towards our client.

We do appreciate that you took steps to settle this matter and understand your frustration. If there’s anything further you’d like to discuss or clarify, we’re here to help.

Send me a text message to a phone…

Send me a text message to a phone number not registered anywhere on a credit file, reported for illegally obtaining it, sent me email... Deleted owe sod all to Klarna or anyone else you claim. Got mental health issues and classed as vulnerable so keep going actually send someone my door and be getting dealt with. Giving it the big I am from Worcestershire just a scam company trying to scam the worse off.

Appalling customer service

We did not have a good experience with this service. My mother was trying to gain more information regarding a letter she had received from them. The woman on the phone was rude and patronising. For someone in customer service whose role is to support people with their concerns I am disgusted by her service. I would expect that a large company such as Capital Resolve would have a better service team and essentially better customer service training for staff, because clearly she has missed that.

Excellent service.

I have had a terrible time with Sky especially when leaving them last year after my husband passed away. This company dealt with my leaving fees which I had no problem with I had a lovely lady called Nazma who was friendly and efficient and didn't make me feel uncomfortable. Thank you.

Getting demanding letters saying I am…

Getting demanding letters saying I am due money for SKY (I don't) when you call them you would think you have called Interpol with the amount of information they try to squeeze out of you, they want your date of birth WHY? and why would you give your date of birth over the phone? That is as far as I get with the telephone conservation as I will not give my date of birth over the phone to a debt company. Be warned nothing of any good comes out of you giving them your date of birth if they have that they have you over a barrel not to mention they could sell your details to other companies.

Don’t trust

Just Another Henchman

Terrible terrible all over. You have a dispute, you get the half @ssed attempts that all companies do to squeeze money out of us. Cool, can I pay it monthly, cause of the obvious cost of living crisis, how about you fill out the why your struggling so we know, how about you turn on the news and understand how the wealth gap between rich and poor is beyond a joke now. I should not have to tell you a thief how hard it is. Lastly when paying or logging on to their website, the software package they have or use is pretty cheap and isn't properly linked, another company spending the bare minimum but expects us to pay in full. Respectfully do one. To all future people that have to deal with these leeches of our society I pity you and continue to get angry on here.

What a terrible company. I dealt with Mary and as soon as they got a contract signed they refuse to call me back or email me back as well. I have tried calling the company but it always goes to voicemail. Don’t deal with these crooks.

These people are breaking GDPR…

These people are breaking GDPR regulations.
They are texting me someone else's first and last name and their account number.
I don't know who this person is. They have a foreign name. When they phone I report and block the number. When they text I can't block it.
Now. This isn't the first time. And it's not the same name. Do they just text randomly? Because I'm sure multiple people don't have my number. There has to be a way to report this company for harassment. I have just lost a loved one. I can't have this extra stress that this will keep happening. They are texting and phoning multiple times a week!

The company are now messaging me asking me for personal information. I am not giving my personal information so they have my info.
I am not the person they need the information from.

I understand why you want the details. But I'm not actually your customer. I don't have the permission of the persons name you are using when contacting my mobile number. I don't know who they are. If i was to share the name and account details here it would breach their rights. For me to use the contact you are suggesting I have to register my details. And I don't want to give a debt collector who I don't have a debt with my personal information either. So unfortunately we are at a stalemate

I have just emailed the information for the person. And the last 4 digits of my mobile. Hopefully this can be sorted.

They bombard with phone calls and txts…

They bombard with phone calls and txts - but, txts are restricted so you cant reply. Their phone line is restricted so you cant call from a with-held number - which isnt really a legit approach to being openly contactable by customers.
When you do get through to their number, what ever option I have chosen it just says to email them - but it doesnt actually offer any options that suit why I am contacting them.
To be honest, if they think I owe someone money (I dont) - they ougt make it easier to contact them - their website wont let me set up account with the case number they have txtd me either

We do not currently provide customers with a 2-way SMS facility, but we will shortly be improving our customer portal and introducing a webchat service.

By requiring caller ID information, we can better protect our employees and the integrity of our service. I received an email from this company…

I received an email from this company claiming I owe them money yet they have not sent any proof of claim… if they contact you do not engage with them and except to tell them that they should not contact you unless it is to send proof of debt …. Dont be fooled by any junk they send to you if it is not a copy of the original agreement with signature… with out this they have no legal case. A quick google can fully i form you about staying safe agains companies like this.

Did not owe money

got a phone call saying i owe over £200 to British gas, for starters I'm on a pre pay meter lol, called b.g and what a surprise i don't owe them anything

Edit, replying to the company, yes you was at fault, you may not be scamming people but your reviews speak for themselves, telling people they owe 100s or 1000s of pounds when they don’t, from your reviews it seems your administration/accounts department make a lot of mistakes, maybe old info, at the time of your call I had no outstanding payments.

Thank you for your review and providing additional details. We are disappointed to read about your experience as we take customer satisfaction very seriously.

We have located your account and we have listened to the calls you made to us during which you confirmed that you did have an outstanding balance with our client, but you were paying them direct. Therefore, we can only assume that this was an administration error by our client.

We strongly request that you refrain from accusing us of being ‘scammers’ as your accusation is strictly unsupported and unfounded.

We do not and have never undertaken any scamming or fraudulent activity. We have been authorised, regulated and supervised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) since 2016, firm reference number 707889, and we strictly abide by their Principles (PRIN 2.1) and Consumer Credit Sourcebook (CONC). Prior to our FCA authorisation we held a Consumer Credit Licence since our formation in 1993.

Thank you for your further response. The data that we hold was provided to us by our client and they have now reconfirmed that their records still show that there is a balance outstanding.

If you reach out to us again, we can provide you with additional details and supporting information, such as copy bills and supply dates. This should help you resolve any issues if the data our client holds is inaccurate.
