Great communication and no pressure sales just good servie

Captivating Cuba organised a holiday for us staying in 3 different places being Havana, Trinidad and Varadero.
We had a great time and everything went to plan, the local representatives were excellent, tour guides knowledgeable and taxi drivers friendly and helpful.
If you want to find out about the real Cuba then you need to book with Captivating Cuba for the best experience.

Captivating Cuba arranged my trip to Cuba last month and it is without doubt one of the best holidays I've been on.
Sarah was excellent right from the enquiry stage, friendly and very knowledgeable. We wanted to see as much of Western and Central Cuba as we could in 2 weeks and nothing was too much trouble for Sarah.
Everything went very smoothly and the staff out in Cuba were amazing and it was reassuring to know that there is a team of helpful representatives locally who really know their stuff (they even managed to get the cigars that we'd left behind in Vinales back to us!)
Would definitely use them again and I can't recommend Captivating Cuba highly enough.

Sarah in the UK could not really have been more helpful and I know from my trip that she was dealing with constant enquiries from several of us, always good humoured, always quick and a really friendly personal service - thanks Sarah. In Cuba again the team were great, I met Maria and Adrian and also the tour guide who they organised, Denis, was first class, so enjoyed meeting him and having his company for the trip. The group were fantastic, so enjoyed everyone's company - this was my first organised tour but I'd do again in a flash if it was always like this!

Nov/Dec 2018:Absolutely brilliant trip organised by Captivating Cuba. Everything worked well, was well suited to our needs and introduced us to the 'real' Cuba perfectly but also comfortably. The CC staff did a great job, choice of Casas, guides, itinerary etc was spot on. Could not fault it at all. A terrific holiday travelling around Western Cuba.

So nice to talk about service 'above & beyond the call of duty'. Sarah & the team enabled me to join the Essential Cuba tour at incredibly short notice - which they absolutely didn't have to do & I'm certain it would have caused them a logistical headache. It made such an enormous difference to my experience of Cuba & I just can't thank them enough!

Our tour was 14 days "Ultimate Cuba" from Havana to Vinales in the west and to Santiago and Baracoa in the south, mostly 2 night stops.Extremely good guide and driver, good accommodation (for Cuban standards), very informative, comprehensive itinerary and would have been very well organised but for the following.
Originally we were to fly back to Havana having toured down to the south of the island, but the 2nd week itinerary had to be drastically changed to allow us to drive back. The consequence of this was not apparent in the revised itinerary we received, it made no allowances for distances and road conditions. The 2nd week was very rushed with long days travelling on extremely bad roads, some no more than cart tracks, (no disrespect to Cuba). One day we started at 6am and did not reach our hotel until 5.30pm, with only two 1 hour stops. A number of times we were travelling for over an hour after it was dark. We had three 1 night stops on the return, arriving late and leaving early meant we saw little of the places we visited.
To do this tour comfortably by road should have been at least 18 to 20 days. Luckily we had added 3 days on to the end of our holiday at Jibacoa on the coast, a well earned rest.

The attention to every detail and working diligently to ensure our experience was perfect.Quick responses, answering my many questions, the super kind and funny ladies handling the ceremony was just the icing on the cake after being taken care of so well on the internet. The venue was breathtaking. We will treasure this moment forever and will highly recommend Captivating Cuba to anyone who will listen. Thank you Nikki, Laura, & Helen!

Booking with Captivating Cuba is one of the best things we have done. Gemma was a great help and source of info. She even helped us when we had to cancel the year before because of hurricane Irma.

From our arrival at the airport to landing back.

1. The recommended seats on the plane were great both ways.
2. We were met in Havana airport by the Captivating Cuba rep who showed us where to change our currency and allocatd a driver who took us straight to the Casa
3. We spent three nights in Havana in Casa Vitrales which lived up to our expectations. Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfasts fab. Everyone was very helpful. We had to leave before breakfast for our transfer to Trinidad so we were given sandwiches and fruit juice as we were leaving.
4.The sightseeing transfer with Shaula and Richard was amazing. We saw and learned so much. After a relaxing lunch at Hostel la Islita we even had a little nap in the car!
5. We stayed 3 nights at Hostal Buri y Nesti in Trinidad. The casa was lovely and everyone friendly and helpful. We even played dominoes with Buri even though he doesn't speak much english and we don't speak much Spanish. He arranged a car to take us to the beach and we had private salsa lesson.
6. Transfer to Varadero with Jose and Delvs did not disappoint. We learned so much from Jose and really feel we got to see Cuba.
7. The Princessa Del Mar in Varadero was another great recommendation.
There is much more but the main message is that Captivating Cuba clearly do their resaerch. Everything was as good as we had hoped.

Everything ran very smoothly from the initial booking, advice given and queries answered to all aspects of the holiday going like clockwork.
Transfers were all on time, with good drivers and cars. Hotels great and the reps in both locations were very helpful.

I usually like to book our holidays independently and was not keen to use an agent however, I am very glad I did! From the start they were extremely helpful and tried to find out what we wanted from our holiday - not want they thought we wanted. They suggested ideas how to improve our original itinerary and were extremely patient when I changed plans several times.
