Nicolas Turcotte attended our RYA Yachtmaster Offshore and Ocean Courses which started on 30 August 2018 and successfully passed his RYA/MCA Yachtmaster Offshore exam 24 October 2018. He also completed and passed his RYA Yachtmaster Ocean Theory.

Yachtmaster Sailing School, Cape Town is an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) registered in the United Kingdom.

We have found Nicolas to be dependable, trustworthy, hard-working, conscientious, honest and courteous. He has proved to be a hands-on worker and has an excellent understanding of both the RYA Theory and practical which he attended through our school.

We use the service if Nicolas for a passage from Saint Martin (France Territory) to Luperon, Dominican Republic in order to put our FREEDOM 40 SV in a safe place for the Hurricane season. Regarding our limited sailing experience, we needed to be skipper by a professional captain. Nicolas took command of our vessel from A to Z. He makes sure to explain to us EVERYTHING to make us feel safe. He also teaches us a lot of things about sailing, weather forecasts, navigation planning.
