Third party shippers

I want to express my concerns regarding your use of GOFO for deliveries. It typically takes 10 days for a delivery to occur, yet there are no notifications provided when the package actually arrives. This practice leaves shipments vulnerable to theft, particularly since your policy does not offer refunds once a package is deemed delivered by your standards.

These standards are not practical for customers living in areas prone to theft. I believe you should clearly make paying customers aware of these risks and the delivery practices of your third-party couriers before an order is placed.

Ordered two caps

Ordered two caps, delivered in 10 days or so. Did not fit even with adjustments of straps/snaps. Notified them immediately given these two options (copied directly from their email): Option 1 – Keep the Item & Receive 15% Refund
You can keep the item and receive a 15% refund to your original payment method.

Option 2 – Replacement for a Small Fee
We can send a replacement in a different size or color. There’s no cost for the product itself — only a $9 shipping fee applies. No return is required.

Return policy on site says "refund within 30 days" not 15% refund. Caps were ok quality, disappointed in fit for both. This return policy is unacceptable for an online business.

Cheap hat from China

The company led me to believe these had been made for many years by a high-quality hat maker in New England. I ordered one, and then it did not arrive. The shipping company (out of Malaysia) kept trying to claim they had attempted to deliver it, when they had not. The cap itself was of very poor quality, thin material, and from China. I finally got my money back, but the company made it very hard to do, trying to offer me 15% off instead. The whole ordeal took an entire month.

Cheap rubbish for top prices

Selling cheap Chinese tat for top quality prices. The cap was made from thin material and looked nothing like the one on the advert. Avoid at all cost.

I ordered a cap

I ordered a cap, THEN saw the poor score on trust pilot and figured i had fallen for a scam. I received my cap, and it is good quality. One of my favorite flat caps. Im curious if the W in CapWrights being capitalized makes a difference. Im guessing two websites are being conflated. This company has been great.

Very poor quality

Very poor quality. Falls way below expectations, morth about £1.50, definitly not the premium price charged. The product and teh marketing are a complete mismatch. I feel "conned" .

The cap I ordered was way too small

The cap I ordered was way too small. I emailed to get the “30 day guaranteed refund” to be told I could keep the item and get a 15% refund. When I asked for a full refund I was told I needed to mail the cap back to China. This was not the first clue that the folksy, family company story on their website site is a complete lie.

SCAM COMPANY

I ordered over a month ago. I received a deivery exception about my package rejected. My delivery address is a UPS store. Capwright told me to contact the carrier with a Chinese phone number. Really?? Week s go by then they said it was delivered. NO. I think this company is a complete fake. I got my money back from the credit card company.

Any returns have to be posted to China!

You should be aware that despite the marketing being very 'British' if you wish to return your cap for a refund then you need to post it back to a warehouse in China - the post office quoted me £26 postage to return a £28 cap! It is really unfair that this isn't made clear at the time of purchase. The caps are no different to those you can get on Amazon for less than half the price with free delivery and returns.

Read the reviews before you order from this 'company'

I should have had the sense to read all of the reviews prior to ordering from this'company'. Product is of very poor quality and getting your money back is unlikely.
The same quality of cap is available from Amazon for less than half of the price Capwright charge and you can send it back for a full refund if not satisfied.

If it needs to be shipped, beware

When I looked on here (after ordering a hat) I realised that I had probably been had after ordering a paperboy cap. The hat arrived today and it fits perfectly however it is poorly made and cheap, very thin cotton and I don’t expect it to last very long.

Forget what it says on their website

Unlike the story presented on the site ("two college buddies" had a dream "almost 30 years ago") and the photo of an old man handcrafting a hat on an old world workbench, this is just another scam selling cheap product from China. The hats say "adjustable" but even adjusted to its largest size, I couldn't get it on my head. I contacted them and informed them I wanted a return authorization and a refund as described on the site. They offered me two options:
Option 1 – "Keep the Item & Receive a 15% Refund"
Option 2 – "Replacement for a Small Fee... only a $9 shipping fee applies."
Don't fall for this SCAM!

Chinese Rubbish with a flash web site

Very cheap quality Chinese cap, worth $3/5 at best NOT £26. Took ages to arrive and nothing like the pictures on their AI generated web site and Facebook adverts, in reality, they should be reported as it's a con.

Have requested a return and refund and then will be going for a chargeback.

Update 20.04.26 - having reminded the company of their clear 30 day money back guarantee, I was then surprised to receive a notification that they had refunded my GPB26 to my credit card which duly arrived and cleared within 2 days. So the moral is, ignore their offer of 15% off and just keep pressing, also they also told me to keep the cap with their compliments! If their products matched their advertising in quality and finish they would have a good business, but they don’t.
