The sales team were polite and friendly. I would recommend a friend to buy from car planet.

Ongoing issue continued. So today I gave up on hoping that Car Planet would actually fix the issue with the car they sold us, so I just got them to return it. After asking them to specifically call my phone number, as my partner was in an important meeting all day, and a specific place to park the car as I live on a red route, they called my partner four times and parked it on a red route. Seriously. Please avoid this place. Look at the reviews. The sales team are great but the aftersales are non-existent. They held my car for two weeks and didn't respond to a single message until I gave up and just accepted the car back, knowing they hadn't completed the work. This is how they operate. They are scam artists. I seriously hope you will avoid.
Honestly, I feel so strongly about this I might stand outside the place and tell people to avoid it. It's really that bad. Don't buy a car from here. They won't honour the warranty. They will string you along until the six-month warranty is gone and then dump you. The amazing thing is that they will reply saying that they're very sorry and that you should email them on the address so they can look into it. But they won't. You email them and they apologise and never get back to you.

So let's start this off with how happy we were to receive our car with great salesman ship and promised everything under the sun, we purchased this car and bought a 4 year rac platinum warrenty which we thought was great, 2.5 months since we bought it and we are having major issues ive spent 2 days trying to get somewhere with the garage i get promised calls back left right snd centre and it never happens.. we have the messages from the garage telling us with this warrenty we have nothing to worry about everything will be dealt with!! Well its very far from that please no body ever buy the warrenty they try and sell you.... you call the company and you can speak to anyone in the sales department but the second you try and speak with aftersales that is a no go! We were promised our delivery fee for the car was going to be 350 pound we paid a 2000 deposit then got a call to say they made a mistake the delivery was in fact 1200 pound... dont fall for thier sales pitches and patter as soon as they have your money you become a distant memory the second our money was transfered we never heard a word we had to call over and over to find out what was happening next... now we have a car with a historical turbo issue

I would like to thank Ahmad from the Aftersales team for his professionalism and kindness throughout the process.
Although the repair took longer than expected, Ahmad stayed in contact with me, listened to my concerns, and most importantly called me afterwards to check that my vehicle was working well. He also apologised for the delay, which I really appreciated.
My Nissan Juke is now driving perfectly with its new alternator, and I’m very happy to have my car back.
Thank you, Ahmad, for your courtesy, communication and for making sure everything was resolved in the end. Wishing you and the team all the best.

I called about a car I'd researched for a while on Autotrader and wanted to purchase, I was put in touch very quickly with Zak, who ran me through the process.
I was impressed with how swift he was when speaking about how it all works at car planet, while also being super positive about the car.
I asked a couple of questions regarding the extra features eg. spare temporary wheel etc and he asked me to take a screenshot of the advert on autotrader stating this as proof, I thought it was a little strange that it wasnt on their record but sent the picture anyway.
Then came the bit with the money changing hands. I was really anxious about getting a car I'd not seen in person as it felt risky, unfortunately I didn't have much of a choice as my car had died the day before. (RIP)
Zak again, reassured me and ran me through the process, I mentioned about my situation and I needed a car quickly, so he said "if you can pay the whole balance today (thursday) I could arrange to get it for you tomorrow or saturday.
I was promised a video of anything I wanted to see with the car to help make my decision and once I was happy the car would then be cleaned and sent ASAP.
I was shown a video of when the car arrived to the garage, so it was all clean and nice.
I said I wanted the car and agreed to pay the balance instead of a deposit, expecting another video to follow and then delivery the following day.
Thursday ended, Friday began, and by the afternoonI was beginning to get worried but got nothing, no courtesy calls or updates at all.
So I called them, explained what had been said, the guy then conveniently started to break up when explaining about the delivery, every time he spoke it cut in and out. All I could make out was that it should arrive Saturday. I said ok fair enough and that was that.
Then saturday came, the delivery driver called me mid morning, I got really excited only to hear that the earliest they could deliver would be monday now.
A bit confused, I asked why? He said that the car had only been put in for delivery Friday afternoon so he was now fully booked and estimated monday at midday - 1 o'clock ish.
Reluctantly I said ok, feeling like I dodnt really have a choice in the matter, I tried to call car planet and either got hung up on, or put in an endless hold loop...somehow "you are caller number 1, we will answer your call in approximately 1 minute turned into half an hour.
So I hung up.
I tried the WhatsApp that Zak had opened for us to chat about the car, the messages were read (blur ticks) but never replied to.
Then Monday came, the delivery driver calls in the morning and asks if he can deliver the vehicle at 6pm!
I said no, thats no good enough, its been changed multiple times now and I need the car (starting to believe it would never come!)
I did get a call from a polite woman from car planet to go through the 'details' and took my info then sent me the code to set up the tax.
I asked if there would be paperwork with the car (green new keeper slip and service book etc) she said yes it will all be there dont worry.
The car arrived as the poor delivery driver had to confirm the address as car planet only gave him the road name, and he was lovely, but had no paperwork! I thought ah it will be in the car...nope nothing at all. (Oddly the lady gave me scans of the service book in an email attachment- so there must be a physical book??)
Delivery driver took some pics of me with the car as proof of delivery and went.
I suddenly was really worried about not having any physical paperwork at all.
Can't get hold of Zak, or anyone else since, I believe the new keeper application was started by the lady on the phone and a DVLA screenshot was in one of the attachments stating this.
So now, in a positive note, the car seems to be really good (I paid for extra checks to be done and all seemed to come up clean, VIN number matches, so I guess I now have to wait and hope the log book turns up.
I have 14 days to return the car if not happy so thats something.
A lovely new car has been marred by really unprofessional customer service and lack of care.
Yes you are salesman and made the sale, but to not be available after for questions/ concerns is unacceptable to me. This is why ive scored as I have.
If the log book arrives and all is ok, and I can maybe have the service book sent to me then I am willing to change the score...feels like this shouldn't be the way I have to do it though.
UPDATE
Had some email correspondence with customer service and looked promising, told them that I wouldn't be available to take calls during the morning/ Afternoon due to work but got one missed call and have heard nothing more....Just chalk this one up to a bad experience, had the car checked out and its all good which is the main thing although no service book still. Just for the record this would have been a 4/5 star review if the care had have been better.

I had a very disappointing experience with Car Planet Mega Centre in Enfield.
Their customer service and after-sales support were extremely poor. They gave me no updates about my car unless I chased them repeatedly with emails and phone calls.
Initially, they promised to deliver my car on 03/07/2026. When that didn't happen, they rescheduled the delivery for 06/07/2026 at 10:00 AM. Once again, they failed to deliver the car and didn't even bother to inform me about the delay or provide any explanation.
After sending multiple emails and making several phone calls, they finally told me the car would be delivered on 07/07/2026. By that point, I had completely lost trust in them, so instead of waiting any longer, I went to the Car Planet Mega Centre in Enfield and collected the car myself.
To make matters worse, the car was handed over in a filthy condition. The entire body was covered in bird droppings, which clearly showed a complete lack of care and respect for both the customer and their vehicle.
Car Planet does not seem to value its customers or the cars entrusted to them. Their communication is poor, they fail to keep their promises, and their after-sales service is unacceptable.
If you care about your car, I would strongly advise avoiding Car Planet Mega Centre in Enfield. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Car Planet to anyone due to their very poor after-sales service.

Purchased a Lexus from Car Planet on 4th June 2026. Before collection, I test drove the car with no damage to the front bumper, and staff explicitly agreed all outstanding work would be completed before I collected it.
On collection day, three problems were found: a boot hydraulics fault causing a loud jamming noise, interior door scratches that were meant to be buffed out, and a brand new crack on the front bumper that was not there the week before.
Staff (Andrew and Hussein) confirmed all of this themselves and admitted the price didn't reflect the car's actual condition.
I waited 2.5 hours at the dealership while they "checked with the workshop." Andrew personally promised I could leave and that he'd call within days with either a free repair or compensation. That call never came. After-sales (Kleo) made the same promise. Also never honoured.
Since then, every phone call to after-sales has been cut off after roughly 20 minutes on hold. Emails go unanswered. No one has proactively contacted me once.
Weeks later, two of the three faults are still unresolved, and the third (the crack) was reportedly made worse by their own workshop trying to fix it.
I've sent a formal letter before action. If this isn't resolved, I'll be pursuing a County Court claim, a card chargeback, an FCA complaint, and a Trading Standards report.
Avoid this dealership unless you enjoy chasing people who don't fulfil promises. I even emailed the Founders/messaged on linkedin and they all have ignored.

Yesterday bought car from car planet, and found defects in the car .
They sold the car with hidden defects, now the worst part there after sales support are not picking phone.
But worried and nervous.
Not good

I had phoned the day before saying that I was interested in buying the car when I was there and how long would the process take. I was told that I would be sent a video on the day showing the car and that I would it only take 2 hours for the car to be ready if I bought it. As it was 6 1/2 hour roundtrip it was time critical. Sadly it took 4 1/2 hours to buy the car, as it was not fully ready inc a missing parcel shelf and scratches that had to be negotiated on the price. On the way home I then had to adjust the tyre pressure as they were incorrect. Not the level of service I expect when I prewarned that I would be driving such a difference. Although the staff were polite and kindly tried to deal with my complaints the processing system could not manage the number of sales on a Saturday which led in efficiencies and poor customer service.

** To add to this review is the FACT that in order to make them attempt to look professional they ask me to email them. Don't be fooled. I'm still waiting for a reply to the email sent the 9th March to them asking for my deposit back. I mean it does look good and efficient if they copy and post the same message to each negative review to try and cover up themselves. Needless to say, the only way I got it back was via a phonecall, where the polite gentleman on the phone actually yawned whilst I was speaking to them.
If I could give this company zero stars I would. I consider myself a lucky individual to have found Facebook groups, 'Car planet planet- affected customers' and 'car planet watford' prior to signing anything and decided given the lies and issues I had not to purchase the car. Luckily I am an individual that after a small battle, lots of ignoring, but received my deposit back and this is literally the only thing I can be grateful for. Some of the other customers issues make me grateful that I pulled out when there was no explanation for the EML being on in the fiesta on me enquiring. I am also now seeing reviews of car planet which are highly dubious given they dont actually review car planet at all. I'm guessing this is car planet acting in a bid to remove all the low and genuine reviews and have fake 5 star reviews to cover up.
Which also shows how unprofessional they are alone.
