Really lovely quality seed compost, will be interesting to see how the veg patch responds to the bio char. Delivered promptly, no problems.

The service was first class. I find it difficult to comment on the product, as its use is a long term matter, and it is not possible to see results in the short term, at least for me. The compost, however, seems to be of excellent quality.

The Carbon Gold seed compost is very good quality, I'm looking forward to better seed germination rates than with coarser types of peat free compost.

Every time I use this compost I think how good it is and all of my plants very much appreciate it!
Delivered promptly and with no extra plastic as well.

Bags of compost were split.and spilling compost out into the cardboard box.

I was fuming no offer to replace or compensate.
Complained on messenger and a much nicer reply and £10.00 refund although it's not showing in my Account
yet..if it does then I'll change my rating .
Well I have received the refund Thank you Sue especially as you where out of the office.
That deserves 5 stars .But I'd not have got this if i didn't complain on messenger.

It's too early to tell how it performs as yet, I have only just received it.

The product is as adverised, was delivered in a reasonable time and in good shape. I will be interested to see how well it modifies spent compost, but that review will have to wait until the growing season is underway.

Do you just mix it with the soil or sprinkle on top, before or after you plant onions

The product is brilliant - far and away the best seed compost I've ever used. But ... the reason for 4 stars is the exorbitant shipping cost which increases the price substantially. Please could you look at extending the retail availability for the 40litre bags or offering some sort of shipping discount.

Ordered from Carbon Gold on 30/12. On 6/1 I got an email from them inviting me to review them on TrustPilot (before anything had arrived). I queried this asking if they’d like me to review once I’d actually received it. Today (8/1) I got a curt email ignoring my question, saying delivery had been delayed by Christmas and would be dispatched soon. So time to spam for feedback but not time to actually fulfil orders. They also charge £26 for delivery. For that price, overnight delivery feels more reasonable…

If I like the biochar (if it comes), I’ll order from a 3rd party next time
