Awful1 Fraudulent! Beware! They charge you for "recurrent membership" without authorization. A real scam. I never would have agreed to that. Apparently this scan got them into trouble with the FTC and they had to pay $8 million. Given these fraudulent practices, I would question the credibility of background checks etc...Watch Out! use altenative websites

I really like Care.Com. I've gotten several great childcare positions over the past three years. It is secure and safe. I continue to use it for jobs in childcare, eldercare, and pet care. I pay for the premium so my profile will be visible sooner when people are looking. They also give great tips on interviewing.

I signed up yesterday on my phone. on my laptop, it shows a different acount and wants to upgrade me again. I tried AI, it was very worthless. I tracked down a phone number and the woman would cancel my account, but i paid for 3 months and I am not able to use account on my laptop. So now I get an email from trust pilot, claiming that care.com is claiming that this is untrue. This is not from an AI. They're a s*** company.

They took my money and I can’t apply for any jobs. Their app won’t work I have been on the phone and writing them and they don’t help. They said they would send me a new sign in and didn’t this is a scam. They took money for a background check and then I can’t use the app. They are awful do not use this site!!!

I started out using Care.Com in 2023 as a caregiver. For the first year it was great and would find periodic jobs. There is a lot of wading through crap and pennies pay to find anything worth your time. I did not have anything but good experiences with my clients I worked for.
This app is handsdown the worst app I've ever used for anything. It never works and is constantly glitching.
When I first started with this service it charged for a background check and a $10 monthly fee to participate. You can pay for extra things as well to have more available on your profile. I was fortunate enough to find a semi permanent job through here and no longer required their services since 2023.
Recently in February of 2026, 3 years later, I've suddenly been charged a fee whilst not actively using their services.
Apparently, unbeknownst to me they changed their t.o.s. and just charge you if you've had your card previously stored.
I contacted their customer service fice separate times and they refused to refund the unauthorized charge or help me at all. I personally have never experienced such putrid customer service. Not to mention there were several instances where I had predators contacting me to work for them, so women beware!

Love that they have different hours that can acomodate your schedule. Easy to communicate and safe. Different position of jobs available in one App. I definitely recommend the app if your looking for a job.

I was nervous at first to use the site, but Care.com exceed my expectations. I was really impressed by the ease of the process to sign up, obtain background-checked individuals, and get a comprehensive list of applicants. I loved the virtual call features in the app and the messaging was super easy! Thank you!

Very difficult app on many different levels.
Customer service is no service. Years ago it worked today due to corporate change it’s literally confusing and worthless.I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Great app, but it does have some glitches. Offers with dates that are past still show up. When you skip an offer and come back, it’s still there. Minor things but still annoying. However I have gotten some really good jobs from Care.com.

This site is good for connecting with quality independent caregivers. The annual background check is a plus.

Through the platform it is easy and safe to get a job and meet a good families !

The service is easy to setup and maintain. Communicating with clients is very easy, setting up/changing your profile is quick and simple as well. The only thing I'm not a fan of - I wish it were possible to edit your profile on the computer.

I did get to meet and work for a few wonderful families and it's a great way to avoid working for an agency but sometimes this site goes a bit goofy, especially when they try to improve some stuff on here. It has been one of the best ways of finding people to help.

Through care I met beautiful families and of course money too ! I was new in USA and apprehensive about USA people but through care I met beautiful loving and respectful families !

My daughter uses Care.com to find babysitters and recommended it to me. I was looking for someone to help with senior care while we are out of town. It was easy to post a job description to Care.com and navigate the website, including all the communications back/forth with the applicants. This tool is very easy to use and had excellent information on each of the applicants. Through Care.com, I was able to hire someone locally who appears to be a good fit for the job.

I needed to have an implant done. I had no insurance that would cover it and it was an emergency I applied for care.com and I got it and it’s been absolutely wonderful. They set up a good payment plan they give you lots of time to pay it off. Great customer service always somebody there to talk to you whether it’s online or by the phone or an email I have also used it for my dog care which is very important to me and it’s just great to know that they’re there.

If I could give Care.com a zero, I would. I have had 2 different people search for my profile and the only way it pops up is if they search for my name and specific city. They could even search my zip code and I don't show up in the search results. I am a premium member, paying money each month and my profile does not show.
I reached out to Care.com support and was told this may be a technical issue. They do not provide status updates for this sort of thing, so I will never know it actually gets resolved. When I replied back to the email I was told my issue was resolved.
Avoid this site. They force you to pay a bunch up front and don't deliver.

Very professional highly qualified the bio didn’t give their qualifications enough credence they were amazing
