Amazing resource

I find this resource to be a highly effective and progressive development tool for the type of work we undertake within residential childcare. It offers strong support in my role as a developing Deputy Manager, particularly in helping me adopt an Ofsted‑aligned lens when completing quality assurance tasks. The structure and guidance it provides encourages a broader perspective, often highlighting considerations or options that may not immediately come to mind. This makes it an invaluable tool for strengthening practice, enhancing decision‑making, and supporting staff to reflect on and improve the quality of their written work. The recent update introducing scenario‑based support is especially impactful. It enables you to explore a wide range of situations and develop proportionate, professional responses tailored to the complexities of residential care. This feature not only strengthens your own reflective practice but also serves as a powerful training resource for staff, helping them build confidence and consistency in how they respond to challenging or nuanced situations. Overall, this tool significantly contributes to staff development, quality assurance, and the ongoing improvement of practice across the team.
