Within 20 seconds of just inputting my info on the car edge site, I got a text and a phone call from a dealer. I had not signed up with car edge to help me find a car or to do the deal for me or anything. The dealer salesman who called me cited the exact year and model I had typed in on the car edge site. So much for anonymity. This is going to make our car browsing today MUCH HARDER. Thanks for nothing!.
Update: I did not seek info from any dealer on availability of a vehicle. If my browsing dealership sites on my private device gives out specific information directly to a dealership, then I have bigger problems than I thought.

My wife and I started out watching Ray and Zach on YouTube and since we were in the market to replace our fine 2012 Hyundai Elantra with a new vehicle we paid close attention to market trends and ideas about leasing vs. buying they offered. Eventually we signed up for Concierge buy service when it went on sale and it was the best investment for us. Debbie Collins and Steve Maisel were excellent at providing guidance and information after we decided to lease a 2025 Hyundai Tucson Hybrid, the exact same vehicle a test drove. Steve Maisel did a phenomenal job negotiating with ABC Hyundai in Henderson, Nevada where we live. Within days of Steve's negotiation we e-signed all the documents and ABC delivered the Tucson to our door. My wife, Karen, and I highly recommend CarEdge to anyone in the market. P.S. We sold our Elantra to Auto Nation after receiving a very fair on-line quote and that process was pretty seamless.

Their $90 AI negotiating "Agent" appeared to be a great idea. But, guess what? It may not be the time and hassle saver that they present it as.
It appears that Dealers (who are also human) appear to hate communicating with AI Bots as much as we do.
Think about Caredge's sales proposition to the consumer. Your AI agent has access to comparable transactions along with the actual costs that dealers pay for their inventory. The sales pitch is saving the customer time and money.
Now look at the negotiation from the dealer's perspective. They are now dealing with a "customer" that has more extensive knowledge in their actual costs and may be better at negotiating than their flesh and blood counterparts. Who are they going to be more receptive to dealing with? Who can they extract maximum profit from?
As long as the supply of undereducated real buyers stays strong, how do they profit from working with AI?
Dealers are already using AI agents as greeters when you visit their websites. What is to stop them from also employing AI sales agents that negotiate on their behalf?
What we have then is No Humans in the Loop trying to drive the sale in opposite directions. How do you achieve a Win/Win negotiation?
Back to Caredge.........
My first AI Agent search went unanswered by the dealer that I selected. This was after 3 attempts by the agent to start a conversation.
I believe that there are two possible explanations:
First, the Dealer did not see the value in working with AI and would not engage.
Second, despite Caredge's attempts to make their agent appealing to humans, it still comes off as AI - and people know it. For example, the AI agent uses a self generated Email address for the dealer to respond to that has some silly domain name that I did not recognize. I'm sure that the dealer did not either.
Ask yourself, when an AI agent window pops up (in voicemail, Email or Online) how often do I ignore it and ask to speak to a live person?
When I gave the agent 3 days to work on I behalf, it came up with no success. So I decided to ask for my money to be refunded. The live customer service rep "recommended" that I give the AI agent at least 10 attempts before requesting a refund.
To this I would ask "How often are your AI agents ignored?"
This appears to be the million dollar question. It would be great transparency if Caredge published this for the public to review.

Jamer gave great guidance, listened to our myriad of questions, and was very patient. As advertised, CarEdge took complete care of our trade-in vehicle, negotiating the out-the-door price of our new Forester, and was always available to address our concerns. This type of expertise comes from years of negotiating which is not in my DNA. For the first time in my life I feel as if I got a square car deal.

I'm a busy guy, working 2 jobs need to replace my 2013 honda odyssey with 2026 Kia Carnival Hybrid SX which from my research would fit for a family of 7. A week prior to purchase of that vehicle, purchased this caredge pro, went to website found a kia carnival at future kia at clovis which is about 50 miles from my home address, pressed that AI negotiation on the night of dec.9. Following day the AI negotiated to the sales person at that dealer on my behalf using alias instead my real name. With hours during the day before 5pm, same day, the AI finally got the OTD of $53,812.43 with the 2.9%, 853.04/mo for 5yr and $6000 downpayment. So I accepted the offer that night. Called the dealer, sales dept, next day dec. 11, talked to this salesperson named anthony and presented that spreadsheet offer. Went to the dealership saturday, dec 13, he walked through me all the features of the vehicle and test drive. After that I sat down with the F&I, of course, I declined all the pkg he offered except the extended warranty which I negotiated from 3999 to 2500. I told him that I will buy that upfront to avoid acruing interest if they put it on the loan. So, that was it. I drove home that 2026 Kia Carnival SX Hybrid and I love it. Thanks to Caredge.

Having someone in my corner that speaks dealership! Ryan made it happen for the best Christmas present!!

The search was fine, but the actual subscription was not worth it. It’s a scam you never get a price from the dealer through them. They use a AI just to run and run for days and nothing happens. The dealers response clearly shows they are not interested and maybe they even know they dealing with some AI. The help desk expects you to send screenshots and the phone number they provide Ont he chat, nobody answers the helpline.

I found CarEdge through YouTube and then joined their community, where I’ve been supported start to finish through my last two luxury vehicle purchases.
The community was incredibly helpful, especially Space (admin), and Igor K. Space consistently went above and beyond, spending days helping me with pro tips, dealer worksheets, scripts, and negotiation strategies. He was patient, even when he had to repeat information or provide clarity - and that is gold! It’s clear he is genuinely invested in helping members make informed decisions and achieve strong outcomes.
This level of guidance (which was above and beyond), gave me the confidence to walk into any luxury dealership with realistic, compelling offers and ultimately secure great deals. As a woman, that peace of mind is invaluable in an industry that can be challenging to navigate.
I trust CarEdge to provide accurate guidance and help people secure the best possible deals, and I will absolutely be back for my next vehicle. I highly recommend CarEdge! Thank you!

The initial intake was a bit shaky and we didn't hear back for about a week. Once Ryan jumped in he absolutely knocked it out of the park. We had a OTD price within 24 hours and then picked up the car two days later. Great deal and smooth process. Thanks for all your help - we LOVE the car, AND the price we got it for.

My husband has been watching your YouTube videos for over a year as he researched what car to buy. They are informative and straight forward which helps tremendously. Using Caredge to purchase out new car was painless, and we appreciated Debbie and Joe really working to find the perfect car for us. We finally feel like we got a good deal on a new car. Thank you!

I’ve never seen a consumer service threaten users with $5,000/day penalties while limiting its own liability to $100. Even if unenforceable, this kind of legal intimidation is wildly anti-consumer and creates a chilling effect on reviews and discussion. Read the Terms before trusting this company
The AI Negotiator was very helpful in reducing the stress of finalizing and closing a great deal!

I used the AI negotiator and was able to negotiate with 7+dealerships at once. My negotiator was spot on with everything I wanted to convey. I was able to negotiate a fair price without even leaving my house. Signing up for this service was totally worth it and saved me from all the hassles of buying a new car. Would I recommend- ABSOLUTELY!!!!

We signed up for the concierge service. “Maggie” was our assigned representative. She was very communicative, and did her best to secure the best possible price for our new car. Satisfied customer!

Concierge? Yes, please! It's hard to put into words how easy and fulfilling this process was. First, I'll start by sharing that both my concierge members, Debbie and Maggie, were amazing! I recently gave birth, so having Maggie speak with the sales team on my behalf was SO helpful and saved me so much precious time. While my car was bought, I cared for my newborn and spent time with my mother during the last day of her visit. That time is priceless! Once I actually walked into the dealership, the process was easy and there was zero pressure. I loved this experience and will probably never buy a car the regular way again.

It’s nice to have access to all sorts of data in one location. The AI negotiator is hit or miss, but the site’s overall value is definitely there. Would purchase this plan again if I’m actively searching for a car.

Car Edge was very helpful in me purchasing a new vehicle for my family. Thomas was very informative and he took all of the hard work out. I was able to go to the dealership with everything laid out for me. I was able to get an even better deal than expected. I will definitely be calling for my next car purchase.

I was skeptical at first but a truly great experience. I had read online all the positive reviews, seen their content on YouTube and decided to pull the trigger.
I got the car I wanted, with savings both in my pocket and TIME!
Highly recommend unless you enjoy the tussle with dealers.

After purchasing the concierge service and searching for a CPO vehicle unsuccessfully, I became ill and was forced by ill-health to stop the process. When I regained my health, I shifted my search to a new vehicle. After test driving my semi-finalists for a tow vehicle for my camper, I landed on a 2026 Honda Ridgeline RTL.
My new concierge, Joe Hoffman, used the vin # I provided and other dealers' offers and advised me when there was nothing left to ask for in negotiating. It took longer to transfer funds from one bank to another than it took Joe to negotiate a fair purchase price. I appreciate the education and information made available to me and working with Joe was comforting and stress-free.
I was delighted to avoid the finance manager's office at the dealership, completing the entire transaction with the sales person who went with me on the initial test drive.
I am well satisfied, no anxious moments, blood pressure lowered, and glad to have a positive experience in auto research, shopping, and buying.
Thank you, Joe Hoffman and the CarEdge team.
