Barret Group Europe

I’m working with The Barrett Group in Europe, and after 6 months I secured a contract in my specialization area. It’s not the perfect permanent role, but it pays well and allows me to support multiple projects on demand — a strong step forward. The process isn’t effortless; it requires discipline and personal commitment. But I can confirm their strategy works.

One of the most valuable lessons has been learning to maintain relationships with hiring managers even when not selected — something I never considered before, and now see as a long-term advantage.

Market conditions in Europe currently favor employers, so no program can guarantee a dream job instantly. Still, Barrett’s structured approach helped me compete effectively. I continue to receive advice and support through their 12-month program, which keeps me focused and accountable.

I would recommend The Barrett Group to executives who want structured support and are ready to put in consistent effort over time. It’s not for those expecting instant placement, but for those willing to play the long game, it can deliver meaningful results.

Totally unprofessional and incompetent…

Totally unprofessional and incompetent company!! They initially contact you and then are unreachable after you send them all the requested paperwork to do the loan. I dealt with 2 loan officers and 2 supervisors and none of them knew how to come out of the rain. After almost one month of receiving the requested paperwork, they had not even submitted my paperwork to underwriting. Then the final supervisor I spoke with finaly got it to underwriting with NOTHING I requested. He obviously did not check with the 2 previous loan officers and its as if he was doing a loan for someone else. A TOTAL WASTE OF MY TIME and if anyone from Barrett Financial calls you RUN not walk in the other direction!

Warning

Warning! Do not use The Barrett Group! They are experiencing severe financial problems and won't be around much longer. They have missed payroll 3 times in a row and have filed for bankruptcy. Their best people have left. Their services have been diluted. The new owner, Stacy Ballinger is clueless. Someone should tell her that it is illegal and unethical to take $10,000 from out of work people knowing that the corporation's doors will soon close permanently, leaving hundreds of consumers defrauded and high and dry. She continues to have her salesmen make sales, lining her pockets with the proceeds. She won’t pay her career coaches and won’t respond to her clients. The Barrett Group's corporate name, Cachcopa, has been moved to Florida using the owner's mother's address. It is very difficult to go after Ballinger because of Florida's laws and that she actually lives in England. Good luck serving her there! If you’ve already paid the Barrett Group and feel that you've been ripped off, simply call your bank and ask them to charge back your credit card due to fraud.

The Barrett Group is a fraud

Despite my optimism in the Barrett Group’s advertised expertise, the program has failed to deliver any results. Over two years, despite diligent efforts on my part and following the program, I have had fewer than five interviews. My repeated concerns about the ineffectiveness of primarily relying on LinkedIn networking have gone unanswered. The Clarity Program and questionnaires provided no measurable benefit. As a result, I feel as though my goals were not being adequately supported, which was very frustrating during this crucial period of my career.
I paid a $12,500.00 fee, which was going to cover an entire set of support tools to obtain a new job. (I lost two years with this approach)
The job recruiters' lists I was offered were old and not even close to accurate.
The more I pointed out that the program only consisted of begging colleagues and friends for a job was dismissed. I started considering that this is a fraud on the part of the Barrett Group.
The more I asked questions, the fewer responses I received.
I regret not researching the company more thoroughly before enrolling, as my experience aligns with numerous negative reviews. It was chilling to read the reviews I found. So many angry clients. I was assured the program would help secure interviews, yet those assurances proved empty. My reasonable refund request to Robin Murray and Stacy Ballinger-Moles has been ignored.
