I am thoroughly disappointed with the services provided by this company. Despite ordering a full package which included resume writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, and cover letter preparation, the entire process was marked by delays and inadequate communication.
To begin with, it took an exasperating 1.5 months to receive the materials, despite repeated follow-ups from my end. The lack of proactive updates left me feeling as though no progress was being made until I intervened. Additionally, their responsiveness to even the simplest inquiries was unacceptably slow, often taking several days for a mere three-sentence response.
Moreover, I found myself having to actively participate in the writing process, despite multiple detailed discussions about my background. Unfortunately, they consistently misunderstood my previous roles and made errors in describing my experience.
Most egregiously, the provided resume and cover letter failed to work effectively with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), which was a primary requirement I emphasized. Upon testing with various ATS platforms such as Oracle Cloud ATS and Myworkday, numerous parsing errors were evident. Despite assurances from Briar that they had conducted their own checks, no evidence was provided to substantiate the claim.
Ultimately, the materials supplied by this company performed worse than my original resume, resulting in fewer interview invitations. Consequently, I had to resort to utilizing AI tools available in the market to adjust and optimize my documents for ATS compatibility.
In summary, this service proved to be a complete waste of both time and money. I strongly advise against utilizing their services to anyone seeking professional assistance with their job application materials.
