PLEASE READ - Do Not Buy!! Was fooled into purchasing the sheep toilet roll holders that I saw advertised on Facebook. Firstly, I thought it was a UK company (it's from China) and they tried to scam me by charging me an extra £5.39 which they refunded me after I threatened to cancel the order (wished I did), that was the first red flag! I received my order of 6 sheep toilet roll holders on 21st Feb and it was sent in a plain white envelope with no padding so any of the cheap plastic parts could have been easily damaged. The part where u put through a toilet roll is too big for any UK toilet rolls and the legs kept falling off when I tried to assemble one. I paid £26.97 and it's not even worth £5. I contacted the seller and they tried to fob me off with £3/£5/£7 refund and kept saying how expensive it was to send back to China, I refused and kept asking for their return address. It takes a whole day for them to respond to each email. After 7 days, I opened a dispute with PayPal and they finally responded to my personal email with a return address on 28th Feb which I sent back to them the nx day on 1st March. Later that same day, they responded to me via my paypal dispute account with a DIFFERENT return address, I challenged them that they had sent me a different address yest which I had already return the package to. They said they would refund as soon as they receive it. 3/4 weeks later, the parcel had been attempted delivery 3 TIMES to the seller in China without them accepting it and I decided to escalate the dispute as paypal will automatically close your case after a few weeks, I send all the information to paypal. Today, Paypal closed my case and sided with the seller because I 'did not provide valid proof of return'. I was hopping mad as I had sent everything to them- photos of the delivery receipts, photos of the parcel with the address and postal address at the Post Office, tracking info, screenshot of the tracking of the parcel etc etc. I immediately called paypal and they asked me for photos of the postal receipts for the parcel and within 15 mins, paypal customer advisor had reopened my case, sided in my favour and was refunding my £26.97. I was very happy with this outcome!! Thank goodness Paypal came through with a refund as I suspect this seller had no intentions of ever accepting the return therefore, no refund to provide! Paying by Paypal was the only smart thing I had done for this purchase, otherwise I doubt I would be getting my money back. You will only get a refund if you send it back to China and it is very expensive, they count on you not bothering to return due to the high costs. My parcel was not heavy and it cost £19.70 for tracked delivery to China and it takes about 3 odd weeks to arrive to the seller's address. I didn't care about the postage costs as I wanted my refund from these scammers and I didn't want them to get away with sending cheap tat to me. I had a load of 1st class stamps I could use to return and paid the remainder in cash. Please do not buy from this seller, it will be cheap, it will be nasty and it will not be fit for purpose!! You will be wasting your money. It's funny how there is suddenly a stream of very positive reviews for this seller recently but do not be fooled. Throughout my dispute with this seller, there has been different company names in the paypal transactions for this seller - they are not to be trusted. I wished I looked at the reviews before buying, lesson learnt!! READ THE OTHER NEGATIVE REVIEWS!!!

DISGUSTED with this so called company. Never received goods ordered despite numerous emails. DEFINITELY A SCAM MERCHANT as far as I am concerned.

I would give 0 stars if it were possible, DO NOT BUY, I bought root cover up for medium blonde hair....it was bright yellow when it arrived, also they are in China not UK, they would not refund me unless I returned product which was more costly than throwing it away! Bought through Paypal and Paypal let me down by erring on the side of the seller...MUYSOWYNS trading as Carefree-living. Very unfair of Paypal and terrible service and product from seller.

Total scam merchants. Ordered some lotus flower seeds in January, they never came. Been filled with excuses from them and then today LIES LIES LIES. Said my post office had returned the item but it couldn’t go back to them in CHINA so I’d got to pay for the lost item and shipping, no way of getting my money back. DONT BUY FROM THEM

Terrible company. deplorable customer service .STAY AWAY. If i could ,I would give it 0 stars, PRODUCTS MUCH CHEAPER on other well known sites.

Ordered a product (sheep toilet paper holder) and the product is not fit for purpose as it doesn't fit a standard UK toilet roll! I've tried 3 different brands. The sheep's head is too big.
Contacted customer service who offered a £2 compensation. The product was £20. Also, the price stated for their products doesn't match the money they take from your bank! They charged me 3 quid more.
When I challenged their service, they said I could return the product to China at my own cost!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

I thought I was buying from the UK. It came from USA (a cover for China) and they sneakily added VAT in the payment process. Is this not against UK law? It was missing a vital piece (two parts of a mini guitar stand that was meant to fit together did not, as they sent two left hand parts instead of a right and a left). 'Compensation' of £2 was offered. Then a 'refund' if I posted it back (to Hong Kong!!?). Then when I refused, 'compensation' again. All I wanted was a working piece! I didn't ask for 'compensation'. They were unable to supply but would never answer my question as to why they would not supply or offer to exchange the whole package. I gave up and bought the whole identical set again from elsewhere for 1/4 the price, just to get the stand as this was a present and it was a bit disappointing as a Christmas day discovery, to say the least. Strange all those 5 star reviews written by new reviewers on the same day in November, 3 of them for the same two products. Coincidence? I think not.

Shockingly bad! I wouldn’t give any stars if it were possible!
Item arrived broken two weeks after ordering and with part of it missing but inside perfect intact packaging. This company varied their offer to recompense during PayPal dispute resolution, but only by a maximum of half the cost to me, less postage and tax unless I returned it … to China at my expense, which was more than the original cost of the item!
PayPal dispute resolution was unsuccessful, due to my failure to return the item. There was no indication during the buying process that the item was shipped from China.
Their website only had positive reviews, mine was never published despite submitting several.
Edited to add that during the PayPal resolution process, this company even suggested I sell it on to a friend if I didn’t want to return it … but it was BROKEN!

Terrible scam artists. Take you money and don't deliver the item. Then won't give a refund either.This is agains the consumer rights act. Avoid avoid avoid.

Abysmal customer service. I was sold a product that does not work. They offered me less than 1/3 of the price of the product as 'compensation', later increased this to nearly 1/2 of the cost (minus postage). Offered a refund if I spent £10 posting it back to them but why would I spend more money when I don't trust this company to refund me a penny?

To be honest I was worried after reading the reviews as it’s true that the parcel seems to travel around the world , however my products did reach eventually , albeit it took time , and the products are exactly as described and very cute :)

I thought this was a British company as the website says carefree-living.co.uk. I was only alerted when i started getting updates that it had to go through USA customs. The order definitely came from China as clearly stated in the postal label.
I have given one star because although it arrived the quality was not as expected. The price i paid for the Mini Cute Edition Wooden Guitar Plectrum Cast was too expensive. The finish was rough and I couldn't fit one pick never mind 3 as advertised. It was meant to be a special present, but I am too embarrassed by the quality. Have not had the chance to try the Universal Car Sun Visor With Polarized Glare Protection so i can't say much about it except that again the the quality is suspect. There are some scratches on the surface.

I also thought this was a British company, then started getting progress reports on the passage of my order through USA customs.
I ordered on 16th December and it arrived today, 31st December.
I have given three stars because it arrived, however, I ordered flower balls that just need placing in water to flower. The actual ones that arrived are less than a quarter of the size of the ones shown in the advertisement. Only time will tell if they actually come into flower and how the flowers compare.
This order definitely came from China, by way of the USA in order to give the iompression that they are from America. The label clearly states China Post.

Ordered 2 guitar plectrums on 7th December and didn't realise company was based in USA as it has a .co.uk website. Notifications pre delivery were good but they never arrived. Emailed the company, and was told to check with neighbours and post office. Tracking number was invalid. Was told they were delivered firstly on 25th December, and then told delivered on 23rd December! I have a ring doorbell and nothing was delivered.

The company based in the US, so keep that in mind when you are ordering.
I ordered a few things on the 10th of December and received my parcel on the 27th of December.
After the initial good reviews I was confident but a few days late there were a fair amount of new ones from the UK and they were all negative. So I panicked a little.
But I got regular updates and customer services were quick to answer when I emailed them.
I think they should make it clear though that it isn't coming from the UK and also delivery times should be clearer.
