I can recommend Matt Carey for doing a great job on a MyEnergi solar/car charger installation, plus changing my consumer unit (swapping out an old fuse board), despite a rather eccentric wiring system in our house. Matt was diligent and thorough, turned up when he said he would and gave lots of advice and tips for us 'solar newbies'.

I searched around for a supplier to install a MYENERGI Libbi battery system. The product had only recently been introduced so there weren't many installers; I contacted three and waited for visits and quotes.

One didn't even respond; another visited then went quiet; Carey Electrical visited, quoted (in line with my expectations) and got the business.

Matt kept me informed about install dates, and actually brought it forward a couple of days. As this was his first Libbi install he allocated more time for any teething problems (at no extra cost). As I know about PV & storage systems we worked constructively together and it was all up and running perfectly within 2 days! MYENERGI threw us a few curve balls with firmware updates and the like but now I'm 95%+ off grid.

Matt could not have been more professional, personable, tidy, and efficient. He is a pleasure to deal with, an excellent electrical engineer, and a really nice guy. If I EVER need any electrical work done in the future he'll be getting my business, even if I have to wait.

BTW the 3rd supplier came back with a quote, AFTER Matt had finished the work, and a LOT more expensive!

Matt installed an EV charge point at my home yesterday. He was punctual, hard working and professional. I would highly recommend Matt.

Matt is a professional and skilled tradesperson who carried out the installation of my electrical vehicle charging point safely and efficiently. He was prompt, efficient, tidy with a sense of humour I would highly recommend him for all electrical work.

I wanted a local man who had a reputation to protect and maintain. I rejected national companies. Very please with my decision. Matt came out to do a survey and explained my options. I decided on a Zappi EV Charger because it seemed one of the best options available. We agreed a date for installation, it was all installed and tested by mid afternoon. I paid him the same day and I received Electrical Installation Certificate next day. He did all the paperwork. Hassle free. Very professional. Would recommend him to everyone who wants the job done properly.

Matt and team installed a Hypervolt charger, generator changeover switch and carried out the building works to route cables under the driveway. Delivered on time, at a fair price, neat finish and great people to boot. Most definitely I will be using Matt for my solar install next year

Fantastic job and great advice as well. Locked at both this and Zappi and Matty was able to wall through the benefits of both and their solar comparability as well. The mounting post in our new driveway is a feature piece and complements the rest of the electrical lighting fitted as well. This was part of a larger project and the overall workmanship and professionalism was second to none. I thoroughly recommend this.

Very happy with the installation of our Hypervolt EV charger. Site visit was conducted prior to quote which many other firms weren't willing to do (!), quote was reasonable, and timeframe from quote to install was brought forwards as we were in a rush - thank you for that - overall good quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Would highly recommend.

Matt was extremely helpful and guided us through the different chargers and what could be available at a later date.
Work was efficient and all was completed to a high standard.
