First they assure you everything is safe — then they demand €900

My experience with this company was extremely negative and, in my opinion, reveals serious issues with professionalism and accountability.
I contacted the service with a small chip in my windshield specifically as a preventive measure, to avoid further damage. After the inspection, I was repeatedly assured that the damage was superficial, safe, did not require repair, and that no cracks would develop. I deliberately asked several times about possible risks and was consistently reassured that there was nothing to worry about.
Approximately one week later, a crack developed from that chip. When I contacted the company again seeking an explanation and a possible solution, their position changed completely. I was told that a full windshield replacement was now required, costing around 900 euros. Moreover, instead of engaging in a constructive discussion, the staff began shifting the responsibility onto me, claiming that there had allegedly been previous repair or resin in the glass — which, in my opinion, does not correspond to reality.
Rather than acknowledging a misjudgment or attempting to find a reasonable compromise, I encountered fact distortion, accusations toward the customer, and a refusal to take responsibility for the consequences of their own recommendations. This behavior gives the impression that customers are first reassured, and once the problem escalates, they are confronted with an expensive and unavoidable repair.
In the end, I found alternative services where the same issue could be resolved at a significantly lower cost and with a far more professional and respectful approach. After this experience, my trust in this company is completely lost.
I would strongly advise others to think carefully before using this service, especially if honesty, transparency, and accountability are important to you.

lynk&co windshield issue

lynk&co windshield issue
I took an appointment for 15th of September to change my windshield - after a stone cracked my windshield on highway. They were super supportive that day but they told me that radar system is broken and I need to fix it at car dealer. I talked with car dealer and they told me first windshield should change and then they can fix radar. There were many emails back and forth. And now carglass is not supporting me. I really can not understand how come they can insist while official car dealer explained how the process should be!

Cracks is fixed, but did I really need this fix?

I contacted Carglass and explained my situation in detail several times—I had a crack in the middle of my windshield and wanted it repaired. When I arrived, my car was taken in, and after about 20–30 minutes, it was returned to me with confirmation that the job was done.

However, when I checked the results, I was disappointed. I expected some minor marking from the repair, but I assumed it would appear as a small imperfection in the glass. Instead, the relatively large crack remained unchanged in size. When I asked for an explanation, the manager told me this was the best possible outcome and that the crack would always remain visible. While I understand that repair quality depends on the extent of the damage, my main issue is the lack of communication beforehand.

I would have appreciated if the specialists, based on their experience, had assessed the crack before starting the repair and informed me that a significant improvement wasn’t possible. Instead, the repair was carried out without any warning about its limitations, leaving me with a bill of over €100 for a result I was unhappy with. Now, I am considering a full windshield replacement, which means I will have to pay for the new glass in addition to the repair I didn’t actually need.

Quick and responsive replies during the replacement windscreen fitting.
Only reason not 5 stars I had to clean the inside with a few little bits of leftover foam and dirt from the fitting.

Nice people and friendly

Nice people and friendly. Tgecwindscreen was done well, but the wipers were put in the wrong way around and one bent. (I found out the next day after trying to use in theorising at night). Took the car to Venlo where the wiper has been straightened and waiting a new one. So unfortunate and a bit inconvenient. But for the rest okay.
If I need a replacement window in the future will know to check the wipers work properly.

I highly recommend this place…

My car's windshield got cracked, and I made an appointment with them. Making appointment process was so quick and user friendly. When I got there, the guy was approached well and explained all the details about the content of the repair. It took only 25 minutes to repair small crack but when I arrived there, a new windshield was ready in case of a need. I am quite satisfied with the service, overall highly recommended.
