The conversation was ended while I was typing a reply. I had other questions. I am trying to avoid a wasted trip to Schenectady to see this car fearing that there is something obviously wrong with that explains its long time on the market.

This is the worst app I’ve ever dealt with every time I try to use it. It doesn’t recognize the listing asks for me to message again and then it closes on me

Good place to search for cars at reasonable prices with good research options.

Just wanted to say how brilliant I think CarGurus is. At an instant, you can tell whether what is on offer is a good deal or not. Fantastic!

Waste of time. I just had one simple question & they couldn’t even answer that. I’m better off just calling the dealership. I’m not even sure if I was talking to a real person or some AI software or if this person was from outsourced country. Whatever the case, I’m just going to reach out to the dealership directly next time.

I found the perfect car on the CarGurus app! I downloaded five or six different car buying apps and searched several different car websites, and CarGurus was the easiest to navigate and gave me all the info I needed on the cars I was interested in. Their response time was quick when I texted for more info, and the dealership reached out to me after CarGurus notified them. Solid customer service and a wonderful car buying experience! Thank you, CarGurus!

The logic/journey used on sms needs improvement. Since I’ve contacted several dealers about different 4Runners, I think the auto text message should include the link to the car, not just the ID number. And then it later asks if my issue has been resolved (1 for yes, 2 for no), and if you hit 2, it’ll cycle back to something else even more confusing. Your best bet is to call the dealership directly.

They take forever and 20 thousand questions to transfer you to the dealer even though that’s what you specifically say you want from the beginning .
And that’s every single time !

Have only browsed website, satisfied with what I saw.

You should make it easy for owners to sell their vehicles. Dealers are to tricky with the info about the cars

Straight ahead. Good Q&A. Waiting to see how dealership responds. CarGurus agent Phil said he'd tee things up -- conveying my answers to questions he asked, as well as his responses to questions I asked -- to make things go smoothly. We'll see.

I responded to an ad about a particular vehicle and asked two specific questions about it—what features do not work and what is the rust situation—and all I got was a deluge of computer—generated data that had nothing to do with my requests, no matter how hard I tried to communicate. Most unsatisfactory experience and I won’t deal with CarGurus again.

Like having the filters to help me find the types of vehicles I've been searching for. Can narrow down the search to the most minute detail.
