Carhola Tenerife Reviews 

Not much more to add than what others have said and that Carhola are simply the most DECEPTIVE and DISHONEST company I have dealt with . Cancelled in early July for a September 24th booking and regardless of their initial response to return my refund within 14 days I have not received it (should of had my refund no later than 22nd July) and I have had no communication off them since the 15th August. I have now gone down the route of 'Chargeback' with my credit card company and will also be lodging formal complaints with the 'Department of Transport at Cabildo de Tenerife' and with the OMIC (local consumer office) at 'Ayuntamiento de Granadilla de Abona' who are the overseeing municipality who Carhola are registered with.

bags at the airport. Claimed they was stuck in traffic and can’t pick us up. Was promised a full refund within 14 working days. Still not received. Will be contacting the bank for a charge back.

Company was quick enough to provide a quote and take payment.

After arriving in Tenerife South Airport I had a message advising that the pick up could not be done (due to a family emergency, fair enough) and a refund would be processed.

This review is being written 6 weeks after the pick up date and no refund has been seen.

Initial enquiries were answered about the refund, but the past 3 messages have been ignored.

Given the amount of people this has happened to, it is clearly a scam company.

I can confirm that it is totally scam!!
I have booked and prepaid a transfer from Airport South to Airport North, the booking was cancelled and I have been told that money will be back to my card - so far no money back, they don’t respond at all!
Please be aware of this company!!!

Great service, great price, punctual both ends, friendly, faultless

Travelled with our family (2 adults and 2 children) to Tenerife.
Booked and paid for a taxi transfer to Costa Adeje and received what now looks to be a standard cancellation message the day we arrived saying a family member was in hospital. This is complete lies.
Following several what's app messages, a promised refund never happened. They will try and show you a fake screenshot of a refund but no money has actually moved back into your account.
We ended up getting a standard airport taxi that was cheaper. The driver said they hadn't even heard of Carhola!
This company are scammers and liers. Do not use or trust them.

Hi I pre booked a Tenerife Airport transfer with Carhola. On arriving at the airport I received a text message saying they had to cancel & a refund was paid. 18 days have passed & no refund has been paid. They even promised me a free return transfer 🤷‍♂️ again a no show. Please beware of this company if you don’t want to lose your hard earned money or like me a pensioner.

Unfortunately, I have to leave a less positive review about my experience with this company.
On the day I was supposed to be transferred from my hotel back to the airport, I received a message saying that they unexpectedly had to take a family member to the hospital. Of course, I completely understood the situation. I was told that the amount I had paid for the return transfer would be refunded.
However, it has now been a month and I have already had to follow up twice about my refund. On 18/07, I sent another reminder and was told that the refund would be processed on Monday 20/07. To this day, I still have not received the money.
What makes this especially disappointing is that I was very understanding about the unexpected circumstances and had even recommended this company to friends before. When you have to chase a company multiple times for a promised refund and still have not received it a month later, it unfortunately does not come across as professional.
It is a shame that I now feel I have no other choice but to leave a negative review.

Amazing communication, great car, very friendly and safe driver!

We booked a return airport transfer with this company from Tenerife Airport to Costa Adeje, specifically choosing a minibus with a car seat for our three-year-old. Our flight was delayed by less than an hour, but by the time we landed we had already received a WhatsApp message saying our transfer had been cancelled because of the delay. A delay that short could easily have been the time it takes to get through passport control and collect luggage, so cancelling without offering any alternative was completely unacceptable.

We were left to arrange our own transport at short notice. The only taxis available at the airport didn't have child car seats, meaning we had no choice but to travel with our three-year-old using only a seatbelt, something no parent should ever be forced into because a transfer company has let them down.

During our holiday we were repeatedly reassured that our return transfer was fully arranged. On the day, no minibus arrived. Instead, one small car turned up, and we then had to wait another 20 minutes for a second vehicle because there were eight of us. We had booked a minibus for a reason. We then spent another 15-20 minutes while the drivers tried to squeeze our luggage into the two cars, repeatedly commenting that we had "too much luggage" despite each person having just one standard suitcase.

To make matters worse, one of the drivers told us he wasn't even a licensed taxi driver – he was simply helping out his friend. He also told us the company's minibus had been out of action on and off for a couple of months, which explains why it wasn't provided on either journey. If that's true, the company knowingly accepted bookings for a service they couldn't deliver.

After complaining, I was promised a full refund for both transfers. Despite that promise, no refund has been received. It has now been 29 working days since the outbound journey and 11 working days since the return journey, and the company has stopped responding to my messages altogether. I'm now having to recover the money through my card provider.

This experience was stressful, unprofessional and, most importantly, put my child's safety at risk. I would strongly advise anyone considering booking with this company to look elsewhere.

Very reliable service

First class service every time we use Carhola for airport transfers and this trip we also used them for a trip to the local Mall and return . They are totally trustworthy and reliable turning up when they say they will .The drivers are first class . We would never use anyone else.They have removed the stress we use to have worrying about getting a taxis on time and wondering what the fee would be . With Carhola you know the cost up front . Very happy to recommend them .We book the Flght / Hotel and Carhola at the same time , need I say more .

We have used Carhola a number of times now and on each occasion the service has been excellent, ready and waiting for us at the airport, car always clean and comfortable. On the return from the hotel again they are there waiting at the alloted time, we will be using Carhola again on our next visit to Tenerife.

I have used this company many times and have never been disappointed 😊 the service is spot on, they are reliable, punctual, friendly and just a great service overall 🙌 wouldn’t use any other transfer company now. Thanks for the best transfer service in Tenerife Carhola 👍

I’ve booked this company and paid in advance four months before my holiday to Tenerife. Our flight was late so this company decided to cancel our transport and left us stranded at the airport with two babies at midnight. They sent me a text message saying they have already refunded me. One month later despite several messages so I still haven’t received it they are either ignoring me or saying they will look into it. Thay clearly have no intention of refunding. I wished I looked them up on trustpilot before I booked them because they have a reputation for being scammers. Avoid it all costs. They are disgraceful.

Booked for four adults and a child but on arrival they said the larger vehicle had broken down and some of the party had to get a taxi from the rank for which we would be refunded after the return journey.
The driver was friendly however a month after being back and constantly chasing for a refund no money has come back and they are now ignoring my messages.
It seems to be a consistent tactic to scam people, do not think it won’t happen to you!

Please be very careful when booking this company . We booked as a party of 6 with an infant and a 4 year old .They picked us up from airport ok and about 2 hrs before being picked up on return they sent us a message that they were unable to collect us due to a broken down car and would refund the money . This was then a stress arranging transport to fit all our luggage prams etc at such short notice .
I have waited nearly 3 weeks for refund , have sent them many messages and they have even sent me a computer genated screenshot saying refunded , but of course the credit card company no nothing abt this , this is jjust generated on their PC.On looking back on reviews I can now see that this is something they do regularly SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN BOOKING THIS COMPANY AS NONE OF US HAVE MONEY TO WASTE ON PEOPLE STEALING FROM US . USE ANOTHER COMPANY

Money taken, service never provided!

We booked and paid for a taxi transfer from the cruise terminal to Tenerife Airport back in January 2026 for a trip in March.

On the day of the transfer, we were informed via WhatsApp at very short notice that the driver’s car had broken down and that no replacement vehicle could be arranged. As a result, the transfer was completely cancelled and we had to organize an alternative ourselves at the last minute.

What makes this especially frustrating: an immediate refund was promised. Now more than two months have passed and we still have not received our money back. Communication via WhatsApp has since been cut off and the provider no longer responds to messages or inquiries.

Very disappointing and, in our opinion, highly unprofessional treatment of customers. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this provider.

We will now have to hand this matter over to our lawyers.
