Caribou was my second try at refinancing my truck. Caribou’s interest rate was lower and the term of the loan is shorter. With you I had more options. The guy who was my contact was very professional and prompt. I didn’t have to wait for answers, he was on it. They let me know what I needed to do and were very patient. Thank you

I feel like Caribou is a scam
I feel like Caribou is a scam. Credit Karma told me I’d have a good rate to refinance my car with them so I applied. It’s been 3 weeks and I’ve heard nothing back. Every time I call Caribou I get someone who doesn’t speak great English and they have no idea what is going on or will give me any information about a lender. I would stay away from Caribou.

Very rude team to work with
I was excited after receiving the letter in my mail box about reducing the monthly instalment on my Car Loan. After filling the form online I spoke to one of the representative at Caribou who mentioned that there will not be any Credit score impact till the time the loan is processed and she asked all the detail and shared a monthly $ value which was OK to me. After that she asked me if I am OK to go ahead further and she immediately ran the credit check which impacted my credit score. After that I got the call from the 2nd level team who started asking me questions that I have already answered and when I mentioned why are you asking me details that is already shared, he rudely said either you give me again or we can allow you to go and hanged up the phone. Such a rude behavior not expected from the customer facing team. I did not get a friendly team to work with.

Unclear explanation of the POA process
Unclear explanation of the POA process. I was sent an example that was meant to instruct me on what needed to be completed but did not include everything. This resulted in me having to pay for notarized documents twice. In that same process I originally received an email marked urgent with a set of instructions on how to complete the process. Then 2 full days later received another email with additional information. Just a very unorganized incomplete process over all.

They will get you a good loan but they definitely do try to sell your add-ons like you're standing at the lot again. For me that was fine I was refinancing my used truck and needed an extended warranty anyway so it worked out

Misleading and won't hesitate to hit your credit very disappointed in the way this company handled my request poor communication and just to be clear I have a 788 credit score and was looking for a Lower payment current loan at 5.75% Caribou came back wit two offers one at 7.25% And the other at 9% total waste of a credit inquiry, and time!

Liars tell you approved for low rate then after they pull hard credit which is exactly what Credit Karma says I have they come back at 17%. Jerks, don’t waste the credit ding!!!!
