Brilliant Caricatures!!

I had a query re an order that I wished…

I had a query re an order that I wished to make and first and foremost the email was answer promptly within 10 minutes . That prompt response made up my mind I was placing an order with the company. the order was completed in record time and emailed to me for any changes I wished to make Very happy with the caricature and it was delivered to me the following day. Absolutely excellent service Can't recommend it highly enough. I will definitely be ordering another one soon . Definitely 5 star service

Extremely prompt

Extremely prompt response to initial order request and good communication clarifying details of the ask. Really helpful to see a preview of the picture and was helpful in taking feedback for small amends eg font style etc. The final product was exactly what we hoped for and a little bit more! The recipient is delighted with her birthday gift!

Responsive and helpful staff

Placed an order and in the same day Eoin contacted me for further information, the second day I've received the draft and within couple of days I've received the frame in gift wrap. So if you are looking for an unique and exclusive gift this is the place. The T&C are visible and the buying processed is very intuitive. Would order again anytime soon.

Item not delivered

Review:

I had an extremely disappointing experience with this company. I ordered a foil balloon as a gift, but due to their poor handling and reliance on An Post, it was never delivered within a reasonable timeframe. Despite my efforts to arrange for an alternative delivery address where someone was available to receive it, the delivery still failed.

What made the situation even worse was their complete lack of accountability. They insisted that someone be present for delivery without providing a specific timeframe, making it impossible to guarantee receipt. Even after multiple failed delivery attempts, they refused to take responsibility.

The balloon had a stated shelf life of one week, which they acknowledged in emails. However, despite the package being delayed well beyond that timeframe, they still expected the recipient to take photos to prove it was no longer intact—an entirely unreasonable and inappropriate request. This was a gift, and it is shameful and embarrassing that the recipient would now receive a deflated balloon.

Overall, the service was unacceptable. They failed to ensure a smooth delivery process, dismissed valid concerns, and showed no effort to provide a fair resolution. I would not recommend them and will not be ordering from them again.

I am extremely disappointed with your response, as it contains several inaccuracies and misrepresentations of the situation. I would like to clarify the following:
1. Timeline of Redelivery: I arranged for redelivery two days after An Post’s initial delivery attempt, not at a later stage as implied in your response. An Post themselves stated that redelivery could take up to five days, yet it has now been nine days, and there is still no sign of the package being delivered. The delays are far beyond what was stated, and An Post has not fulfilled their own timeframe.
2. Gift Item and Shelf Life: I clearly stated in my communications with you that this order was a gift. Your own correspondence acknowledges that the balloon has a shelf life of one week. Given that it has now been nearly two weeks since the order was placed, it is entirely inappropriate to request photos as proof that the balloon is no longer in a usable condition. The product is now well past its lifespan, making it unfit for its intended purpose.
3. No Offer of a Return Label or Refund: At no point was I offered a return label or refund. In fact, I have not received a reply to my last two emails, despite reaching out for a resolution. Your claim that I was offered a return option but refused it is completely untrue.

I expect a prompt and fair resolution to this issue, given the failure to deliver within a reasonable timeframe and the lack of communication on your part. Please confirm how you intend to proceed. I have email history i can and will post to prove everything

On the 20th, Aisling placed an order for a balloon, sweets, and a card. Delivery was attempted by An Post on the 23rd, but unfortunately, no one was available to receive the parcel. A collection slip was left at the address.

Aisling chose not to collect the parcel from the designated hub and instead requested redelivery to a different address. An Post clearly stated in their email that this redirection could result in a delay of up to five days, with no guaranteed delivery date. This timeline was outside our control, and Aisling acknowledged and agreed to these terms with An Post.

A few days later, Aisling contacted us expressing concerns that the balloon might be deflated by the time it was delivered, as it had not yet arrived due to the weekend. I offered to reach out to An Post on her behalf, but she declined the assistance. I then suggested a resolution: if she was unsatisfied with the items upon delivery, I would send a return tag and issue a full refund once the items were returned.

However, Aisling found this solution unreasonable and insisted on keeping the balloon, sweets, and card while still receiving a full refund. While we always strive to accommodate customer concerns, it is standard practice for companies to require the return of goods in order to process refunds.

Not worth the money.

This card did not live up to my expectations. You can add a personal message, which I did and this was printed on a white label and stuck onto the card which made it look cheap and tacky. There was also the option of having another message printed on an additional complementary piece of card, which I completed but did not receive anything. Although the pop up penguin was quite cute I won’t be ordering from here again.

I’m truly sorry to hear about your disappointment. This is the first time I’m hearing about this issue, and I wish you had reached out to me privately so I could have resolved it for you.

Regarding the pop-up cards, I’m unable to run them through a printer due to the intricate pop-up elements. Since my handwriting isn’t particularly fancy, I use high-quality printed stick-on labels in a script font instead.

As for the complimentary card, this option is available only for customers who have not purchased a card. We offer that free card when no card is ordered.

I reviewed your order, and since you purchased just a card no other item, you do not qualify for a complimentary card. The text on the option for the complimentary card specifies: If you have not purchased a card, you can leave a card message here, and we will print it onto a complimentary best wishes card.

This is the first time I’ve received a complaint about a pop-up card purchase, so it’s upsetting to hear. I’ve reached out to you via email, and if you’d like to return the card, I’m more than happy to accommodate that and refund you in full
