This is a scam. They lure you in with a $1 fee and then, even after cancelling, persist by attempting to charge your account with $29.95. I involved my bank to reverse the charges and obtain a new car... See more

Car info stole me

Car info stole me! From $1 to $29.95
Site looked sketchy from the start but I figured a dollar! can basically cancel anytime! Was I absolutely incorrect! waiting for the class action lawsuits to kick in end up watching this company get buried on American greed while eating popcorn! A car is an investment in this saturated over priced market as it is! carinfostory.com is no different than a chop shop. How does the government allow these people to conduct scam businesses stealing people's money making an already dreadful experience buying a car as is to just scam scam scam people? Karma is real & very slow! When you see a judge sentence people to life in prison the initial reaction would be like damn that's steep. In this case there is no sentence that would constitute a proper sentence, what you people are doing is unforgivable to legitimate people doing there due diligence on researching a motor vehicles Vin before purchasing a car! Enjoy all the fun & games car info stole me, time will tell the tale unfortunately we share the same road ways, school's, college's, jobs. One sweet day your time will come, no thanks too car info stole me.

This website should be shut down

Stay far far away from carstoryinfo.com. I purchased a used vehicle and just wanted to see if there were any accidents on the car facts. I agreed to a 7 day trial for $1. 7 days later my PayPal account was charged $29.95 for a bi-weekly subscription that I never agreed to. I filed a dispute with carstoryinfo.com and after being ignored for a week. I filed a dispute with PayPal. As far as I was told by PayPal the subscription was cancelled but was told that the $29.95 was properly charged. So that tells me that they worked in some kind of fine print under a veil of deception. Review everything, everyone and every website before making a purchase. Not even PayPal can stand up for you with these kinds of thieves.

SCAM!

I had an extremely disappointing experience with carinfostory.com. I was scammed out of $30, as they delivered nothing in return. They stealthily added a subscription to my account without my consent. Beware of this site; it’s a complete scam!
