My claim was initially declined, and the review process took some time and required follow-ups. However, after escalation, the case was re-evaluated professionally, and the claim was ultimately approved.

The final handling was fair and the payment was processed in full as expected.

Excellent global car rental insurance cover. Cheaper that vendor provided insurance addons that you get offered every time you pick up your car. It's nice to be able to decline the overpriced guilt trips at the rental desks. I have also had a minor accident and the claim was handled professionally and timely with no fuss and the full claim amount was refunded to my account, so i am very happy to recommend CarInsuRent to others, and my wife and i will be renewing yearly without hesitation.

Great experience! We were going to rent a car from Europcar in France for 3 weeks. I needed excess coverage. I was hesitant when I first looked into CarInsuRent. I am always afraid to fall for an online scam or for companies that will find the small print to explain to you why they do not need to pay you. After looking at reviews online, I decided to go for it.
When returning the car, we had a scruff for which Europcar charged something like 600 Euro (damage + admin fee)! I contacted CarInsuRent right away, followed instructions, and provided the requested information.
Not only did they pay back the entire amount that I was charged without giving me any hassle whatsoever, but the service was great. They were helpful and super responsive (email). They pay via PayPal who do take a fee, but that is per their policy. Overall, it was a great experience. I was pleasantly surprised and will take them again if needed.

very happy with communication, with their care and ultimately with the fact that they deliver. regrettably, I have had a few minor claims over the years, always related to scraping car during parking or similar. They have consistently stood by me. And communication has been friendly and professional. I am glad to continue working with them. trust in an insurance company is crucial, especially as many try to get out of paying. These guys don't. They're dependable. However, the customer also has to be dependable. Their small print says you must notify them as soon as you discover damage. Not having done so, they did not honor the claim in full. So, my advice is by all means go with these guys, but do honor the small print, for your own interest. Thank you carinsurent.

Most recently, I was charged by a rental company in Menorca for what was clearly pre-existing damage, and CarInsurent not only approved my claim quickly but also provided clear communication and support throughout the process.

Exceptional service, I highly recommend it. Much cheaper than any other insurance I've seen, and when I needed help, they answered quickly even when the office was off for vacation.

This is a review of the booking experience only. Bill was extremely helpful in explaining the whole rental car insurance situation in Europe. Very different from NA! He was most helpful in dealing with all my dumb questions…Not crazy about the short 14 day refund window which I didn’t notice until I got my policy. (My bad!) Had I known, I may have waited until closer to our travel date to buy it. We aren’t leaving for six months and unexpected things can always screw up your plans. I will write a second review after we have travelled.

Edit: I have since cancelled my policy and had no problem getting my money returned. It was in my account within a couple of days. I will buy this again closer to our departure.

I wholeheartedly recommend this company. Even during the difficult times we're going through here in Israel, they didn't hesitate for a moment. They understood the situation and refunded me the full amount. I have no doubt who I'll choose for my future travels.

I have a WorldWide Annual Plan policy.
Had a claim for car rental replacement tyre, which rental company refused to pay. The claim was dealt with efficiently & fast. Received full reimbursement within 3 days of claim approval, in currency of my choice.
All correspondence with CarInsuRent was courteous with lots of patience on their side.
Will continue using their service for many years to come.
