If you are using these inside a Carolina Coops egg hutch, the pads are the exact same dimensions, and will fit perfectly snug inside each box. These pads work best as a liner to prevent egg breakage. We recommend pairing these pads with straw so chickens will have material to build up a nest shape.
This is a natural product, and thickness of pads may range from 1 to 2.5 inches.

I am obsessed with these hemp nesting pads! They have a wonderful, cozy scent—honestly, like a warm bowl of oatmeal. They’re incredibly soft, and even though my girls are currently on strike from laying, they’ve already been curiously checking out their upgraded nests.

For the very high price, my chickens were not impressed. Chose not to stay in the nesting boxes with the hemp nesting pad. Wanted it to work but these chickens…. 🤷🏻♀️

I love the hemp nesting pads however my hens are tearing them apart and pushing them out of the nesting boxes. I hope they get used to them soon. I do think it is a great product. I will purchase more as soon as the hens start using them
