Carousell Reviews

One of the best app out there to de clutter. Been using it for 7 years.

BUT the whole operation is run by Bots (or inexperienced/cheap labour).

There is a “Buy” button for buyers to have a safe purchase where the payment goes to Carousell first n only released to seller when buyer confirms receipt by courier. Meanwhile they earn daily interest on that payment. If your buyer receives the item and Does Not key in “Received” .....

The “Buy” button also let the buyer think he can choose the “meet-up” place even tho seller has stated clearly on the listing. If you attempt to describe to buyer how to use Waze to come to your place, the app blocks it and says you are Violating the Guidelines.

As at today, i’ve disabled the “Buy” button.

Carousell has done well in the beginning and it has already brought in investors for the founders. I guess mission accomplished?

I’ve reported a few times to Admin on certain stuff but the responses are what reviewers call Cut n Paste. I call them Bots.

You need to be careful using Carousell. Read more Trustpilot reviews.

Don’t believe carousell, they ask you to join as a business partner then if they found your business earn the money they will grab it and tick you off.
Eg: Cars,Handphone,Luxury Items,Cloths and so on.

I wish there was a way to buy on Carousell from the EU, that's all.
While I can make an account, there's no way to confirm my account and chat with sellers because I don't have phone number from the selected countries.

SUPER SUPER SUPER BAD!!!

It was my first time and it will be the last!

My account is suspended after I sent the seller an offer to buy a product!

Meanwhile, I had ordered another product and my account is suspended so I cannot communicate with the seller and I have been waiting for 1 day now to cancel my suspending but they don't do that. I just asked them at the end to delete my account completely and cancel my order and return my money but they can't do that and I have to wait again! just SERIOUS!!!

Plenty of counterfeit products going around the platform and admin do not take any any action in managing the sellers despite attempts made to report.

Clearly a fair web page wich is offering in site chat function and an really good price offering function. Never had problems with sellers or buyers on that page all went successfuly until today. I wish this website was available for people in Europe many people would use this there too.

Site is okay, just need to be careful when buying stuff, if it's too good to be true, it's probably isn't.

Unregulated platform, with many illegal products and services, and scams going on. Moderators are almost non-existance to manage. Plenty of counterfeit products lurking around, waiting to fall into the hands of buyers.

Got a limit to how many items you can actually list. The thing is this carousell really CMI, such a good startup in SG but let investors take so much shares. the Founders can't even run this startup without investors. End up still come out with this kind of joke pattern of max 30 limiting despite having ads.

Easy to find relevant and sincere customers for my used and unused stuff
