We had been having problems with the lock on our wooden front door and I found Gordon’s website and messaged him. He responded immediately and fitted us in an hour later on his way back from another job. He quickly diagnosed the problem and removed the door to fit new hinges in less than an hour. Amazing speedy, efficient, professional service at a very economical price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Gordon. Thank you so much!

Gordon promptly attended my business after contacting him, he measured up for a replacement door, replacement of a digital lock and to remove and rebuild my back entrance way to a wooden gate and surround. After confirming I was happy with quotes, he sent me, work was started promptly around my availability and completed to a very high standard. I will definitely be contacting him for any future works I may need.

After an external door handle snapped off, I searched on trustpilot and found Gordon who
responded quickly when I contacted him . He came to assess the problem and in less than 2 hours had got the old handle off, bought and fitted a new handle that I was able to choose. And he took the door off to ease it where it had been sticking and rehung it. All swept up and tidied. The door now opens & closes beautifully. Thank you Gordon, for a superb job.

Gordon was called when the handle on the front door lock broke off leaving the occupant with no other means of exiting the flat. At the time he was travelling in his car to a different destination, but on receiving the call and realizing the urgency of the situation, he turned the car around to attend immediately. Gordon has provided us with excellent service before and this time it was no different. He was able to provide and replace the handle with an identical one, resolving the issue quickly. With Gordon it was great to get prompt, good service without any fuss.

Gordon acted promptly to diagnose the problem with our door and then replaced it very quickly. He gave us a very reasonable quote and honoured that at the end of the job. He was courteous at all times and cleaned up after the job. I would highly recommend him.

Gordon did an amazing job at restoring our VERY tired windows. They were on the verge of being irreparable, but Gordon found a way to repair the rotten frames, fit new beading and also fix our leaky front door. It’s SO nice to know that when it rains, we won’t have water pouring in! We can’t thank Gordon enough! Gordon was brilliant at keeping us up to date and was such a friendly guy. Gordon came to look at a floorboard in the hall prior to a new carpet being fitted. As well as going out to buy the hardboard and fitting it over the very old floorboards to make good for the new carpet, he also very kindly took a look at my wardrobe which drawer rails needed attention which he fixed and also a wooden footplate which needed removing from the bedroom patio door area, prior to new carpet being fitted.

Brilliant experience having my front door knob replaced. After a friend enthusiastically managed to pull my front door handle off, my Dad found Gordon’s details and sent them across. He came to my property the same day to give me my options and a quote. I needed a new type of door knob to support some issues I had with my door. Gordon sourced it quickly and came round to fit it. Excellent locksmith and carpentry work 100% trustworthy and at reasonable rates.

I have been using Gordons services for most of this year to do a variety of jobs including carpentry work and numerous locksmiths jobs.

After Gordon came round to measure up for door replacement and doors/handles etc were selected by us, he emailed us with a quote which we were happy with and replied saying as much.

There was no reply from Gordon to either that email or the subsequent 2 further emails from us and it has now been 25 days since we heard anything.

1 star review based on the above.

Excellent communication, worked flexibly around my time constraints and the weather, helped me with picking out the required parts, did a very high quality piece of work on a truly rotten door and left the site clean.

Gordon changed a lock for me and had ready the extra key he had had to get cut. He took the time to show me how I could double-lock the door. While he was here, he noticed that I had a leak and he identified the source. Then he advised me to get the door painted because it was blistering in the sun. What a find! What a gentleman.

I was caught out by a lock that should never have been initially fitted to a patio door and needed urgent help as I had started (but failed) to try and sort it myself.
