Another good rental with them. The car I booked and received an Audi A6 was absolutely crazy. New, and it had a ton of options including a system similar to Siri so I could speak to it.

They allow Facebook reservations which is a plus. I am happy because i rented with them. They have the lowest deposit for damages ever just 150 euro instead of 1100 with the cheapest alternative. Unlike others they are very focused on helping and they always reply the phone.
Biggest plus? They do not require credit cards.

I've had a surrealistic experience with them. I haven't ever seen such unprofessionalism. I think it's just some rude “dudes” operating this... Tehy talked to me like I would be their mate. I think it's a really shady company and totally advise against it!

ENG: I've had the pleasure of renting from them three times this year.
I've had Megane3, Dacia Logan and Fiat 500 - all new and in excellent technical condition!
Recently I've had a very good deal on the Fiat 500, no warranty money has been blocked from my credit card,
which was amazing considering most big names in the renting industry usually block 1000 euros on the credit card and then they deduct every single thing they find and they don't usually check thoroughly the car before lending it to you, so if you're in a hurry and you miss a dent, you're going to pay out a lot.
But not with these guys!
I've had no worries and I have nothing but good words for them!
Don't hesitate if you're a tourist
I recommend this car rental if you're a tourist. I was renting the car for the first time and I wanted to rent a Dacia for a good price. I read a lot of reviews on the internet but I still wasn't sure if it is a good idea to use a local car rental. The price was a bit suspicious comparing to other international car rentals and the website was only in romanian. But I took the risk and it was a good decision.
+ The staff speaks English so I had no problems contacting the company for details or when I wanted to call and ask for help by phone call.
+ the price is really good and there are no hidden costs
+ the car was in the good condition, we got what we paid for. You don't have to buy the vignette.
+ you can rent the car in one city and drop it off in another city (but you have to pay an extra fee for that)
- It is a pity they don't have the website in English, and the google translator doesn't always work well for romanian.
- Carpro is not the company which owns the cars, it's just an operator. Carpro itself is a professional company but be carefull when it comes to the actual car rental company that owns the car that you rent. The guys that delivered the car had all documents in romanian and wanted us to sign them - we refused and called carpro for help.
- make sure that you know what is included on the insurance that you choose. We had two options: 1) pay more in advance without blocking the deposit on the credit card or 2) pay less but the deposit will be blocked.
I hope this review will be helpfull for all foreign tourists traveling to Romania.
They are by far the cheapest car rental …
They are by far the cheapest car rental broker and I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they really try hard to keep the customers happy. With them I has no surprises like hidden fees. Maria was super nice and I did not have to give my credit card details which was a big plus.
For example they advised us to avoid certain operators and they really explain things.
We were actually very lucky for booking through them and not directly. Also they have a no excess option where you pay no deposit.

We had problems with the battery and they didn't offer a solution until 24 hours later. It was a chaos!
Besides, we have paid 10 euro for an extra service of cleaning that was unnecessary in our opinion. We didn't know anything about this service...
I don't recommend this company.

i have named your car
The car was very nice, I ended up giving it a name because it was red. Price was OK (13 euro). I was amazed to see it includes the winter tyres also - with most companies this is another 5 euro/day. Also the deposit is very very small. I had a similar car last year with another provider and the deposit was 900. Here it was 150 euro.
Saved with a last moment booking
Landed in Romania on the 17th and needed a car until the 4th. I had no booking because it was a last moment travel arrangement by my company.
While no company in the airport could help me (they were all fully booked for the new year and Christmas), the guys at Carpro really tried, which I appreciate. They firstly put me on a waiting list, then they told me a car will be available if anybody cancels. First cancelation happened, and I got a car. I really thank you guys for it, and keep up the good work.

It was definetly better than I expected for such a low cost operator. I had a 14 euro car, the i20. The car was clean, they were on time, and everything went smooth, even if on delivery I realised that my phone doesn't work in romania and i cannot recover my booking information - Cristi, the agent (an eldery gentleman) had it in the planner thingy. What I liked a lot was the fact that i can get it and return it in the same spot (the arrivals/departures parking and there was no airport fee for this). Will definetly recommend.

La scurt timp dupa ce am lasat primul review pe TrustPilot (vezi jos) am fost contactata de Emil, care a facut tot ce i-a stat in putere sa-mi transmita parerile lui de rau si sa ma faca sa inteleg ca in compania lui asemenea comportament nu este acceptat. Am ezitat sa cred initial, insa pentru modul frumos in care mi-a vorbit, am decis sa ascult ce are de zis. Emil, fiind profund deranjat si dorind sa rectifice situatia, m-a asigurat ca vor fi luate masuri, a revenit apoi sa-mi spuna care a fost rezultatul si, mai mult decat atat, mi-a promis ca voi avea acces la masina dorita odata ajunsa in tara. Tin sa spun ca a reusit sa ma impresioneze si sunt certa ca, atat timp cat el va fi la Carpro, clientii vor fi multumiti. Asa Serviciu de Clienti, da. Mi-as fi dorit sa vorbesc cu el de la inceput. Multumesc frumos si astept sa ne intalnim.

Shortly after I left my bad review here on TrustPilot for Carpro (see story below), I was contacted by Emil, who was very apologetic on behalf of his company and who did everything in his power to make me understand that such behavior is unacceptable at Carpro. I was quire reluctant initially, but decided to give him a chance due to his really nice and respectful approach. Being profoundly disturbed by the incident and wanting to rectify the situation, Emil assured me that measures will be taken, he then got back to me and informed me about the result of his effort and, on top of that, guaranteed that I would have access to the car in question as soon as I get home. I must say that I was impressed. I wish I had talked to him form the very beginning. I am sure that, as long as he is at Carpro, their clients will be satisfied. Thank you very much! I-am contactat pe băieții de la Carpro joi, 23 iulie 2015 in jurul orei 15:30, în vederea închirierii unei mașini ziua următoare la 13:00. Am vorbit cu Claudiu și am negociat detaliile contractului, am căzut de acord îccp. tipul autoturismului, prețul total, taxa de returnare, adresa preluării și livrării, efectiv tot ce trebuia discutat. Claudiu mi-a spus ca îmi trimite un e-mail cu informațiile respective, așa că a rămas sa aștept și sa ne vedem a doua zi.
Două ore mai târziu nu primisem nici un mail și am zis sa rezerv mașina respectivă online, sa fiu sigură că o am a doua zi. Imediat am fost contactata de Emil via e-mail, căruia i-am explicat situația, l-am rugat să ia legătura cu Claudiu și să revină cu un e-mail după ce se pun de acord, să știu care e următorul pas. Nu am mai primit nimic în ziua aceea.
Vineri dimineață la 8:30 sun la ei. Mi se spune ca vor reveni cu un telefon după ce află care e stadiul mașinii și al înțelegerii dintre noi. Nu am mai primit nici un telefon. La 10:30 sun din nou și mi se spune că mașina nu mai e disponibila și că mi-a fost trimis un e-mail ziua precedentă. După ce le spun ca nu am primit nimic, că am stat la calculator și am verificat constant, angajatul respectiv devine foarte defensiv și îmi spune că "ce să vă fac dacă ne-ați dat adresa de e-mail mail greșită?". Cu alte cuvinte, nu se scuză pentru confuzie și nu încearcă să salveze reputația firmei, ci acuză clientul că nu-și știe propria adresă de e-mail (asta după ce i-am explicat-o pe litere și l-am pus să repete). Aveau și numărul meu de telefon, dar nu s-a obosit nimeni să mă contacteze.
Văzând că nu ajung nicăieri, l-am întrebat de ce nu mi-a mai răspuns Emil, căruia ii explicasem situația și care mi-a cerut sa răspund la email pentru confirmare. Ei mi-au spus ca acel e-mail a fost generat automat, că de fapt nu a fost o conversație. Nu e chiar așa. E-mail-urile automate cu scop informativ nu prevăd semnătura detaliată a vreunui angajat care cere sa fie contactat pentru confirmări. Iar dacă se invită clientul la anumite angajamente, atunci persoana respectivă trebuie să își asume responsabilitatea pentru invitația făcută.
Într-un final, le-am spus cu un gust amar ca m-au lăsat în pom în ziua vacanței, că sunt foarte dezamăgită de serviciul lor de clienți și că nu așa se fac afaceri. Iar ei mi-au răspuns... "să știți că s-au făcut afaceri foarte bine până acum, de aia nu mai avem nici o mașină disponibilă". Bine, mă!

I talked to Claudiu from Carpro Thursday, the 23rd of July 2015 at ca. 15:30, and we negotiated the contract for renting a car the next day. We agreed on all necessary details and he said he would send an e-mail with all the information and if I have any questions, I should reply there.
I waited for his email and after 3 hours I decided to book the car online just to be sure I have it. I immediately received an email from Emil asking me to reply to it for confirmation. I did so, explaining the agreement I've come to with Claudiu just a couple of hours back and asking them to contact me after they prepare the contract. I did not receive any email back that night, so I called first thing in the morning.
The person answering said he'd get back with more information about the car and the state of our agreement. He did not do as he said. I called again two hours later and the guy who answered said that the car was no longer available and that an email was sent to my email address the previous day. When I told them that I did not receive any email, he said "it's not our fault that you gave us the wrong email address". As if I don't know my own email address... No excuse for the chaos, no suggestion for fixing the situation for their client.
I moved on and asked why Emil didn't write back or if he'd even talked to Claudiu, but I received no info on that but the fact that what I got was actually an automatic reply. I beg to differ. The email had a comprehensive signature of their employee and that employee asked me to write back for confirmation. If you invite the customer to do something, take responsibility and answer back. Nothing of the sorts happened.
In the end, I expressed my dissatisfaction and told them that they exert a poor way of doing business and the guy replied that "business has been running well so far, that's why they're out of available cars".
All in all, I suggest you move to the next car rental company.
