I also strongly agree with the other reviews. This is a joke of a warranty and by all means do not buy it or buy car from a garage which strongly promotes it. I.e. Bill Griffin Motors in Dublin. I am... See more

Misleading cover. DO NOT USE

Garage gave me this policy. Covering all engine and gearbox.

Broken down, a few weeks after purchasing car.

They refused to cover repairs for a bad injector.

TOTALLY MISLEADING insurance.

I purchased a second hand car and got a…

I purchased a second hand car and got a 6 month car protect warranty included.
1.The policy isn't worth the paper it written on.

2. It stated in the t's and c's that for instance that the wiper motor is covered on the policy but when it breaks they find some technicality
to weasel out of paying saying "The part broke is the windscreen wiper motor whilst we only cover the windscreen wiper motor mechanism".....
despite informing them its the same thing they just persist with computer says no attitude.

3. The same thing happened with my drivers side window mechanism broke they informed me "oh we only cover the drivers side motor wire mechanism

4. you first have to bring your car to certain mechanics and pay 55€ to diagnose what is wrong first before they can claim from car protect (who reject every single claim)
Mechanic sits in car and tries to open window which is broken and fails "yeah that's broken mate...that will be €55".

5. One of the fuel injectors failed and once again they reply with "We only cover injectors 1 and 3 and unfortunately it is your 4th injector which need replacing"

6.if a car you buy has this "Warranty" its safe to assume you have been had.
