Not Good don’t buy.

Not good if I have a text message come in I can’t open it and the screen flashes and the only why to reset it is to turn the ignition off then back on.
The screen is quite clear but forget all the YouTube video reviewers who were given the units for free they all talk nonsense about how wonderful these units are when they really are NOT. I’d say don’t buy find an alternative.

Great Customer Service

I have the w702 on my motorcycle. I had read that they will do a custom boot logo for the device, so I emailed them and got a response the following day requesting the image and some device specs. Then the day after I had an email with the file! Super fast responses!

upgrade quickly and free.

emailed Carpuride and aked if there was any upgrade for my unit ( w701 9" display) and they came back and asked me to send the version numbers, i duly copied these to them and i recieved all updates in a bin file and full instuctions on how to upgrade. it went very well and all upgraded in a few minutes. very pleased with the quick response and the quality of there sevice.

Great service from the team at carpuride. Had a slight issue with an adapter I bought for my BMW 1200gs but was resolved within 48 hours. I can thoroughly recommend them.

Great product!

Fantastic! Bought the W702 for use on my motorcycle, and I’m happy to report that it is near perfect. CarPlay on my bike on a bright and responsive screen, happy days! Now I’m just waiting for the BMW bracket and the unit will replace my other navigator. Great customer service aswell. This product may put a lot of other manufactorers in a pickle, I just don’t see how they can compete with the price and quality. I’m really impressed!

Carpuride.com W901 Pro

I was at first skeptical of Carpuride.com and afraid that my package won't come and I will get scammed, especially after reading the bad reviews here. But Carpuride proved me wrong. They are legit!!! I bought W901 Pro and it lived up to it's expectations! I watched lot of vidoes of Carpuride's products on YT and websites, and surprisingly Carpuride was high ranked.

It took 14 days after purchase till I received the product, which is understandable.

I'm not paid or employer or something from Carpuride. This is a independent review.

So overall I'm impressed with this product and this company. I was at skeptic to this website, but now they have earned my trust. So if you are interested in buying a headunit to your old car like me, go and visit Carpuride.com! I heavily recommend their products!

They don't honor the return policy and disappear if you ask for a return

They don't honor the return policy and once you mention return they don't reply to the email. I purchased the w701 plus and the problem when using android auto I can't hear people on the other end but they can hear me. I tried everything with no success. I emailed them many times but once I asked for a return they disappeared!!! Don't buy. If you really still taking the chance and buying then buy from Amazon or eBay because you can enforce a return. I bought from carpuride.com and can't enforce a return. They even deleted my one star review on thier website. DON'T BUY!!!

Products not arriving

I have just ordered the W103 Pro with backup camera and when ordering i also sent them my custom background that they advertise on the website as something you can get added to it. It arrieved with neither the background or the backup camera..

It is now about 10 days later, i have sent them more than 5 e-mails, tried calling and they havent got back to me.

I write this review as a hope of them noticing so i can get my stuff fixed…

Very bad service ordered 4 items from the 6th of February have not shipped yet today is the 15th of February i have sent them 4-5 emails also on there Facebook page and also on there instagram page nobody answers.

Got back to me on the 17th apparently my first order has been shipped, time will show

W903 absolutely useless

I bought the W903 more than 3 months ago on Ebay from seller "carpuride-2022"(this is apparently Carpuride factory in China!) and had nothing but trouble with it. Service department is very friendly but just keeps stalling the claim (more than 50 Emails!) and even sent me a non-workung Firmware update. I must have a moday-morning-unit because it keeps freezing, rebooting and loosing connection through Apple CarPlay. Absolutely useless and even dangerous because the GPS functionalioty sudenly stops working when you are in a difficoult trafic spot. In the mean time they stalled the matter so long, that Ebay Customer protection is no longer applicable and I lost my > 200 USD!

Bought the carpuride w903 few weeks ago…

Bought the carpuride w903 few weeks ago and love it. Got everything I want and need to upgrade my BMW X5 from 2003. Great aftersales/ support. Even got a free update to fix a minor problem connecting so I could save all data from the dashcam to my mobile phone. Excelent!!!

Support went quiet when we had a problem

I messaged support about an echo when taking phone calls. They responded extremely quickly at first, and i would wake up to a message each morning. I was advised to install a software update to fix the problem. The software update failed and broke the unit completely, and since then, I've not had any response from the company so I fear I now have a defective unit that I cannot get fixed or replaced.

I bought a w901 Pro for my transit…

I bought a w901 Pro for my transit custom, it works perfectly . My phone connects to the car as normal via Bluetooth so all functions work , then the phone also connects to the screen and all functions work. Customer service via email is great you get a reply that night ( normally about 2am) also you can change the boot up logo to whatever you like, if you email them. Overall great product znd get service for updates and screen logo changes.

As soon as you mention a return, these guys go radio silent. To be fair they were helpful in trying to get the unit working, however it has inherit faults that cause the music to discontinue once you've received a phone call.

Stay away.

All in All I Love This Gizmo

I am going to leave a detailed review so you it doesn't seem fake. And yes, they did ask me to leave 5 stars. I have, although I could have deducted one for a couple minor quirks relating to phone calls.

I purchased my 103W directly from the company about 6 months ago. My main purpose was to extend the usable life of my 2016 Acura which I love, but which was the last model not to have CarPlay. I wanted that in order to have a usable map solution (Waze on my phone was a nightmare) and to be able to play music either from my album collection, Spotify, or iHeartRadio. The unit performs all these functions flawlessly. I don't really care about anything else. The sound co,ing through my car stereo using the auxillary cable is, of course, great.

Hear are the quirks: 1) Sometimes after a phone call, the music audio does not return. (The map audio is not affected.) The kludgy but workable solution is to briefly pull out and push in the charger plug which quicky reboots the system, and all is as it was. 2) Occasionally (I don't know why) a phone call drops to the phone speaker. Not a big deal since I can still hear it.

Some comments on negative reviews:
Customer service - this has been VERY good. I have always received a reply in about 1 business day. When I first tried to install the mounting bracket I put it in the wrong place and ruined the pad taking it off. They sent me another bracket for free. Then I realized there just wasn't a good place to put it on my dashboard and they sent me a CD bracket for FREE. Just this week I asked if the unit ever had software updates and they responded with instructions for a simple update immediately.

Return Policy - I ordered directly because the sale they were advertising was better than the price on Amazon. In retrospect, it might be better to go with Amazon because while they do take returns, they don't pay for shipping. And shipping to China is expensive and not worthwhile. The same would go for repairs. But not many electronic devices get repaired these days.
