I’ll never sell a good car of mine wholesale again

Cars and Bids auction process was as expected. The post-auction Buyer's process with "safepay" was exceptional!

Fantastic experience selling a car on this site. This was my first time selling a car on an auction site and they did a great job making me feel confident in the service. I also appreciated their documentation and FAQ. Its rare to find a company nowadays that has a competent support team and are willing to help as if they were personally vested in your best outcome. I will most certainly be looking here to buy and sell cars in the future.

Easy to sign up and bid, usually a fair selling price, happy with my purchase and the purchase experience for both auctions Ive participated in.

I bought a 2024 Porsche using this site. It was a horrible experience. They charged me 5k to introduce me to the seller, that was the extent of their responsibility. The seller kept driving the car and put more miles on the car and there was no recourse. I am very very unhappy with my experience. In addition the seller has refused to give me the second key and they are now saying "sorry nothing we can do". Go online and save yourself the "introduction"fee.

Great customer service that makes the entire process of selling your vehicle easy.

Great way to sell a niche vehicle instead of dealing with tire kickers. They make it easy, all you have to do is provide the pictures and information. The process is pretty efficient and they communicate throughout the process. It’s totally free on the sellers side.

Got a good deal on a somewhat unique car.

I purchased a car they charged me almost $5,000 to win the car at the auction. After that they had no liability and introduced me to the seller. The seller said he owed money on the car which means technically he cannot sell the car unless he pays It Off but he wanted me to wire it 105,000 to him and said I needed to do it immediately as that was the rules cars and bids made. I asked him how I was guaranteed to get the car he said he would have a friend meet the shipping company near the vehicle. Because he was leaving the country the very next day to germany. I thought this was very suspicious as number one he does not own the car the bank does he had no title he should not have been allowed to sell a vehicle had an auction without the title as the same with dealership rules. Also he was leaving the country conveniently the next day. And I was supposed to send him the money in full. I reached out to cars and bids and they said well our policy is this and if you don't go through with it we will keep your money and ban you from the auction. I threaten them with legal action and had to dispute the credit card transaction. They were of no help and had no interest in helping me resolve the concerns I had.

I got to realize this might be a good place to sell your car but I have my doubts and reservations about the cars that are getting sold over there. I spotted a 'private seller' who is an obvious re-seller and some other members have even found the same car on craigslist (along with many others from the same seller). I reached to C&B support but they said there is no problem, do your due diligence before bidding with C&B. So I did, I am not buying anything there, period.

Very informative, plenty of pics to aid in the vehicle descriptions, clear and concise instructions as to how to navigate the site and post your car, just an all around great experience!

By watch videos and study them, my greatest company is Mercedes.
