Severe lack of communication
My main problem is the lack of communication happening from both the inspector and the contact who received my request.
I wasn't notified in advance that they discussed with the garage owner and booked an appointment with him until I asked.
Then the major issue that resulted due to lack of communication is, the inspector actually faced difficulties running/testing the car, yet he/she didn't call me on the spot to notify me that the garage owner didn't prepare the car. So I could have reacted/assisted/understood what went wrong.
I wasn't contacted by carspector after the inspection, until I sent an email on Tuesday asking what happened? I was told there were software issues and they couldn't send the report, I repeated the process on Wednesday, receiving similar answer.
It wasn't until Wednesday evening (29th of Oct) when I received the report that the inspector couldn't run the car, and that the garage owner didn't prepare anything, so only visually inspected it.
At this point I couldn't do anything, because it was 2 days after the incident! I reached out to the garage owner, he shared a different story that the inspector actually refused to run the car, stating it wasn't necessary.
Of course I don't know what happened because I wasn't there, but what I do know is that I expected the communication to be much stronger for a paid service.
Not that if they failed to test the car on Monday, I know about it only on Wednesday evening. With no option for me to intercept or improve the situation.
It will look bad I admit, but the results and the overall experience was very disappointing.
