I am very disappointed in the way business is done. I accepted the offer and was told to go to Cardenas to cash check. I was under the assumption that they contracted with Cardenas and I wouldn't have a problem cashing the check . Well after an hour of waiting for approval from Cardenas it was not verified. I was upset. I needed my money immediately. When you call car stub their recording says cash for cars. That's not true. I had to cancel my transaction. I couldn't cash check.

HORRIBLE! Justin the appraiser was late by over 45 minutes and did NOT even apologize! Car Stub offered me
$6600 for my car and as long as my appraiser agrees I would net $6600.
After waiting for 45+ minutes for Justin to arrive he finished his appraisal after another 30 minutes of making me wait and then he said my offer is based on his appraisal which she said was good.
I figured I would net close to $6600 maybe 100, $200 off for minor cosmetic damages per Justin.

No, that wasn’t how this works at all. Justin has to go to auto dealers and even junkyards to get bids for my car which is a 2018 Subaru WRX in very good & descent condition.
I felt like I was in In auto dealership waiting for Justin’s managers to drive down my offer of $6600. Justin says his dealers and junk yards only would offer $5075. I felt like this entire process was a SCAM! Car Stub does NOT STAND WITH THEIR OFFERS IT IS BASED OFF FROM DEALERS AND JUNK YARDS OFFERING BIDS AT NEARLY 9PM AT NIGHT WHO IS AROUND AT NEARLY 9PM BASICALLY NO ONE AND CAR STUB’s OFFER WAS JUNK JUST LIKE THEIR APPRAISER WAS. I spoke with Justin about the appraisal and it was essentially no issues. I expected him to offer maybe $100-$200 less than $6600 NOT EVEN CLOSE! CAR STUB DOES NOT BACK THEIR OFFERS OF PURCHASE LORNA WHO I SPOKE WITH FIRST SAID SHE HAD SECURED HER MANAGERS APPROVAL TO OFFER $6600 WHERE IS MY OFFER CLOSE TO $6600 AFTER JUSTIN’s APPRAISAL WHICH WAS IN WHAT HE TOLD ME AN ESSENTIALLY GOOD APPRAISAL OF MY CAR?

Justin Lopez was very professional. We just gave him the car key and he performed the inspection and provided us the appraisal. It was no hassel process and I will do business with Carstub again.

This review is LONG overdue!! I sold my car to this company with Javier 08/04/2023 and here we are a year later and no issue. My husband is now looking to sell his car which reminded me to leave a review from when I sold mine. Process was SMOOTH, they handled ALL of the DMV paperwork, they paid me just what they said without issue. A great experience and would highly recommend them!!

The process was easy. The initial phone call was short and scheduling an inspection was quick. They were able to schedule the next day. The inspector was very nice, no judgement and very thorough. He was open with us on the process. Overall this experience exceeded my expectation.

I love that they made the process easy. Sent someone out to my home to check vehicle and worked with their team to give me the best price for my car. I will definitely use them again.

I called Carstub, their customer service was very good very explanatory. The car was sold within a day of my call.
