NOT EVEN A 1

NOT EVEN A 1. CARTGRAB
I have not even bought one thing from them and have identified that they have been taking money off my account for nearly a year - for a so-called subscription.
I might have clicked on one of their cover 'sales' on FB and ended up now being taken for a ride by them.
I remember a 'too good to be true' item on FB, which when I got to the basket and entered my card details, something didn't feel right, so I reversed out as quickly as I could. That was around June last year, if I recall.
I don't even play games or electronic anything, but apparently, according to them (on email) I trialed them for three months and since I didn't 'cancel' it, I am now subscribed for nearly R500 per month!
They trap people unwittingly into taking a 'subscription' from them.
They must be laughing all the way to the bank.

Unauthorised access to my bank account

I purchased a pair for sandals two months ago and received them they were ok for $40
Then three months later I noticed an unauthorised payment in my bank account for $77.16aus cartgrab.com
I looked back my emails to determine who they were.
After inquiring I was told I had been given membership???To access the specials which was Free for 7 days
And because I had not deactivated it the had changed me for the privilege!!!
Really!!
How can they access my bank details without my consent and charge me for something I didn’t even ask for??
I later received an email saying tuff basically!
But if I want to cancel the account just to let her know.
I have instructed the bank to cancel the payment and block them but I want people to know about this.

Absolute scammers

Absolute scammers. You buy something and get a cheap imitation. Then they start taking money out of your account. Do not buy anything from them and beware because they'll say it's from a local website to suck you in. If it looks too good to be true, it's a scam.

They're an electronic store. Don't order clothes from them

I ordered a size 7 shoe, which in Australia is a 38. But they sent me a 37, so when I asked to exchange, they don't offer that service. Then I find out they're an electronic store, & it was a bulk one-off sale and there's no exchange. Why didn't they just offer Euro sizes in their order?? GO BACK TO SELLING ELECTRONICS!!

Average Platform and Poor customer service

Here is my honest review, I hope it will be helpful.
First thing, I think Cart Grab is a good initiative. It is an alternative to a well known ecom platform. It is presented as "An all-in-one eCommerce platform designed for you Everything you need to sell online, or run a store, Cart Grab has you covered"
It is quite true. This site is made by someone who wanted to make a more easy to use alternative to the other ecom platforms. It is operated under the name "The Randolph Organization, LLC" (Colton Randolph). They also making "Ecom Blitz"
It is easy to use, easy to configure, I would say it is convenient to set up a shop, and it is easy to swap between shops. No hassle.
So this is a good point.

However, I had a simple problem: I could not create an another store. Very simple problem as it was clear that CartGrab thought I subscribed to 1 store plan. Ok , this kind of thing can happen, I am have no problem with that. To add more, this is a young company so errors happens. I do not mind. But when I contacted the support here came real issues, not relevant to a serious company. The support is by email only, so I send emails .
It took no less than 22 emails to solve this simple problem.
I reported on March 26 and was solved definitively (I hope) April 16, so it took 21 days. And during this time , I continued to pay full price for just a portion of the service. The main issue was with emails from support:
They did not listen carefully what I was writing, sometimes they even asked me questions with answers that they can find in my previous email. They say no "hi" or "best regards" , One time they answer me a generic answer although I asked them a specific question. Worse, I got no answer during several week days. Even worse: I got one answer every 24h. Some of those issues were fixed of course but not before I wasted a lot of time with hassle. Still, sometimes they to not answer me, I have to resend them another email and hope for the best.

Yes I am sorry to say with this customer service, it is about "hoping" a solution (and an answer), not really get a solution.
I asked for a compensation (yes they did not even took the initiative to give me that, I had to ask for it) , they gave me 19 days free.

UPDATE:
They did not took into account my 19 days free as they charged me $97 May the 11 (they should have charged this the 31th) To this day, they did not refund me despite several emails I sent. Yes, they answered (May the 11) "I apologize for this error. Yes, you should have up until May 31 as I've given that compensation previously. I will have this checked as soon as possible.
Please give me 24-48 hours to check and make the appropriate actions. "
Another email from them (May the 13) "
This is in regards to your Pending Case. I just want to let you know that we are still working on your issue. I may need to ask for more time to be able to fix this and make sure it won't happen again.
Thank you for understanding and I sincerely apologize for the delay. Have a great day."
To this day (July the 12) no actions or communication from them. No refund. NOTHING.
But I still receive promotion messages from Colton Randolph for selling Ecom training under the name of "Ecom Blitz". So they are still active, but not for their customer who already paid for their services.
Update: June 24: Still no messages, no refunds. But their "ecom platform" is still active.

Please rate this review useful if it is for you, It took time to write it and I lost a lot of money with this case. I wish I would have found a review like this as I would have $291 more in my bank account.
Thanks in advance!
