From start to finish the effort and care taken with my case by Shakeela Bi and Diane Cowgill was brilliant. Mr Kadhim who also worked on my case was again brilliant. Thank you all so much for taking what felt like a hopeless case and gaining a result that was better than I ever hoped for!

Nisha helped me obtain my citizenship, even though I exceeded the limit of days allowed outside the UK. She was the only solicitor who explained that it was still possible to proceed despite being over the limit. The other solicitors I contacted simply copied and pasted the requirements from the government website, as if I didn’t already know how to read them! Honestly, why would I even contact a solicitor if I met all the requirements and could apply on my own? Nisha was the only true professional I encountered. She was quick and clear in her email communication, and during our call, she explained everything thoroughly. I had to submit a discretionary application since I didn’t meet the standard requirements, and to my surprise, I received the results in just two months, absolutely amazing!

I became a UK citizen with the help of Cartwright King Solicitors. The process was very smooth and Nisha was insanely good at communication and was supportive in answering all my questions. Cartwright King was allocated by Express Conveyancing for a fast conveyance for my daughters 1st purchase, the solicitor despite receiving the necessary documents from the Vendor lied about receiving them then lied about responding.

We are not is able to get them to communicate and we are now over 2 months in and they have still not given a date for exchange.

If you are not in a hurry and want a very slow but cheap service they may eventually get the job done!

I found Shakeela Bi, Head of Family Law, at Cartwright King after a long Google search. My daughter who now lives in the UK but married many years ago in another country needed an expert lawyer to advise her regarding Civil and Islamic divorce in the UK. Shakeela is genuinely knowledgeable and caring. She understood a complex situation as well as the safeguarding issues. We had a 30 minute telephone consultation during which Shakeela clearly showed us what to do first and how to go about the civil and Islamic divorces and the financial arrangements. Shakeela paid attention to details and presented her advice clearly and concisely and at a pace that enabled me to make notes. There was time at the end for our new questions. My issue has been very complex related to my children it involved safeguarding issues. At all times our lawyer Chet was on hand to help. He provided excellent clear communication and compassion throughout the proceedings.
