Purchased car for my parents who live 1…

Purchased car for my parents who live 1 hr away, scheduled delivery at their home at 3-6 . I m a few miles from their house & I get a textthat delivery is delayed till the next day. 2 hr round trip for nothing! They had plenty of time to notify me earlier than 30 minutes before delivery time. I also received a text that morning everything was on for delivery that day .

Absolutely Painless

Absolutely Painless. This service is incredible. We needed to get rid of my elderly parents' vehicle so decide to give Carvana a shot. It literally took less than 4 hours to receive an initial bid, finalize ownership, sign documents and then they took the car off our hands. The text follow through from the service individual was seamless--and I appreciate that it was a "real" person providing updates.

Best service! Fast transaction!

I really wasn’t sure I wanted to sell my truck but someone else was asking what I wanted for it and then I was curious what it was actually worth. I filled out the form and less than 15 minutes later I had an offer that I couldn’t refuse..that being said, it was picked up by a wonderful lady the next day. I’m still unsure how that happened so quickly and smoothly. Everything done, truck picked up and paid for in less than 24 hours.

The entire sale process to Carvana was…

The entire sale process to Carvana was very easy, simple, and hassle free. The prices we received for our two vehicles were more than what we expected. The two men who picked up our vehicles were prompt, polite, and efficient. The checks were electronically transferred to our bank on the same day! We will certainly make our next purchase through Carvana. There is no reason to use any other site.

Wind shield leaks and they wont fix

car arrived with cosmetic damage that was not shown prior to purchasing, they tryed to say that its normal wear and tear...one of the damages looks like its from someone using a screwdriver to remove an emblem though. The wind shield leaks and isnt covered since its been over 30 days (it didnt rain when we first got it, so how were we to know) the battery needed to be replaced on day 31, so thats not covered, the battery terminal also needed to be replaced. alot of the internal things dont work either, such as the lumbar support...basically i DO NOT RECOMMEND CARVANA.

Carvana is excellent!

Carvana's web presence is easy to navigate and responsive in mobile phone application. Their response time is fast and their communications give you step by step directions that are clear and easy to follow. I had to reschedule my appointment and it was simple.
The young man who picked up car was a delight. He was very engaging, respectful: a true professional.
Lastly, Carvana gave me the best deal...I shopped around and Carvana's offer was far better than other options and they stood by their offer. I have already recommended Carvana to a few people!

Sold a Total Loss/Damaged Mercedes Benz

I purchased a 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLA 250 from Carvana and made a down payment of over $9,000 for what I believed to be my dream vehicle. Less than two months after purchasing the vehicle, I was informed by a collision repair company that the vehicle had previously been involved in a major collision prior to my ownership. This information was never disclosed to me at the time of sale.

During the inspection and disassembly process, the body shop discovered extensive structural and frame damage, along with numerous additional issues that significantly impacted the safety and integrity of the vehicle. The estimated repair costs exceeded $18,000, and the vehicle was ultimately considered a total loss. The collision repair company also expressed serious safety concerns regarding the condition of the vehicle and advised that they did not feel comfortable performing repairs due to the extent of the prior damage and the potential risk it posed if returned to the road.

When I contacted Carvana to discuss the matter, the company refused to take accountability for selling a vehicle with undisclosed prior collision and structural damage. Instead, representatives attempted to redirect the issue toward a minor incident that occurred while the vehicle was parked and unattended after my purchase. I clarified that the parking lot incident did not cause the extensive pre-existing damage identified by the repair facility.

Additionally, I was informed by Carvana that even if they were to cover repair costs, they would not be able to take possession of the vehicle because they would “lose out” financially. This response is deeply concerning, particularly given the severity of the undisclosed damage and the safety risks associated with the vehicle. Based on the findings from the repair facility, this vehicle should not have been resold or deemed safe for public road use.

I am seeking accountability for the sale of a vehicle that allegedly contained undisclosed major structural damage prior to purchase, as well as reimbursement for the substantial financial loss I have experienced, including my down payment and the emotional distress associated with this situation.

Lesson Learned

I'm writing this review again because it somehow got deleted. I don't care if Carvana ever fixes my problem because I've already paid for two front tires. I had a good car for 5 years, with 93,000 miles on it, but I had a co-signer, so I built up my credit and traded it in for a car fully in my name. I traded for a Chevy Equinix from Carvana.
The first day of driving it, it started smoking really badly and the brakes were grinding. Call Cavana like, I'm not feeling y'all, I just want my car back. They told me I couldn't get my car back but I can do a trade, and they were nice about helping me trade this car for a new one. I got a 2021 Hyundai Venue. I was told that because of the issues with the first car, I would get 14 days to decide if I want it instead of the 7 days they give.
I was locked in for 7 days instead of the 14 days they promised. I had the car for two weeks, tops. It rained lightly in my city, and I slid straight through traffic. My husband wasn't there when I got the car but he looked and told me all the tires are bad.
I called Carvana who told me, that tires are not usually covered but because I hadn't had the car long this could be an emergency, it had to be proven an emergency to be fixed. They told me to take it to a tire shop, then call SilveRock the company they use to pay for claims.
I take it to the tire shop, which tells me all 4 tires are bad and this could be a bad hazard.
I call SilverRock who tells me to have the tire shop contact them so they can work on my claim. The tire shop called them and called me back telling me we were on the phone for 20 minutes explaining to them and they denied your claim. Mind you they had me thinking they were going to fix it because I didn't have the car long.
The tire shop quoted me seven hundred something dollars. I told them, I would have to split payments. They wanted to help me so they gave me one of their coupons, which took it down to six forty which every little bit helps being that my car payment is due soon.
Today I paid $330.00 for front tires and will pay for back tires in two weeks. I just felt this wasn't right and I didn't know what to look for in tires when I got the car, another lesson learned, Dealing with them is a lesson learned. My first message I wrote on here, they wanna get on and write reach out to their social media, I have no clue what they're talking about, and why write when they already know the situation. I am locked in with them now and cannot wait to be done with them. They surely didn't drive me happy!

I applied and then they took it away after deposit was paid.

I applied and got qualified for financing, picked a car and paid a down payment. A couple hours after giving the down payment, they sent an email saying that I needed more information to be qualified. I don't have the information that they wanted and was not qualified. My wife checked the bank and the money was still there, but only for another hour or 2, then they withdrew it. And now it'll be the end of this month, into the first week of June. It's may 15th. I've talked and talked. I'm very disappointed with the unethical practice that they're committing to doing. They did not help me in any way, but hinder me now getting a car that I needed yesterday. I have to wait 2-3 weeks too get my down payment back. Disappointed and frustrated didn't even complete what I'm feeling about this situation. Good luck if you choose to go thru here!

Very straightforward

Very straightforward. Provided VIN details and answered a few questions, got a good offer price which I accepted. The online process of uploading some documents and providing payment information was easy. And the appointment was quick with no last minute surprises. We received the payment next day itself, which was really quick. All in all a frictionless experience.

Not worth it

I bought my car about 2 months ago and am still dealing with some nonsense. Their inspection isn't one at all, the car arrived with MAJOR problems. It's a beautiful car, but not worth the cost Carvana sold it to me for and the hassle. I'm now spending several days a week trying to get Carvana to cover very serious problems because the warranty doesn't cover any of the issues.

Carvana continue to be outstanding!

This is the third vehicle I sold with Carvana and they continue to be outstanding. I started the process on a Monday and the car was picked up on Tuesday. They came to the house and car was checked and picked up within 15 minutes. My direct deposit was in my account on Wednesday. Outstanding!!
