Reedham Gardens

We’ve been using Carvers on my new build site in Wolverhampton, and the experience has been outstanding from start to finish.

As a site manager, having reliable suppliers and helpful drivers makes a huge difference, and Pete Brady has been absolutely brilliant. Nothing has been too much trouble, always professional, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure deliveries run smoothly and on time.

It’s refreshing to work with someone so supportive and proactive on site. I would highly recommend Carvers and look forward to working with them again in the future.

James Good - brilliant

I bought my en suite bathroom tiles, cabinet and toilet from Carvers. James Goode was absolutely brilliant. He managed to find a slot in his busy diary to come and make a visit to the work that was in progress. He helped me select the items I needed. Nothing was too much trouble for James. He is an absolute credit to Carvers. I would definitely buy again from Carvers bathroom it James is still there👍

Amazing customer service from delivery team

I am writing to express my gratitude for the amazing customer service we received this afternoon from the delivery man from Carvers.
He had impeccable customer service as he was extremely polite, friendly and so helpful.
As a result of this great service I will definitely be shopping with Carvers more frequently.

Excellent service


I write to express my appreciation of the superb delivery service now provided by Carvers.
My recent delivery (PSS-25-090266) was completely faultless in that, not only did your driver Peter Brady telephone me as requested some ten minutes before arrival, he arrived almost precisely at the time advised by the automated service and had completed the delivery within ten minutes.
In short this was precise, efficient and courteous service.
So important from a customers perspective in a busy working day.

Why use Carvers?

Why use Carvers?? This place offers a wide range of building materials well laid out at competitive prices and importantly outstanding customer service. A super big show room with the added bonus of a cafe. From the moment you enter Carvers you are met with a warm welcome from Leva, whether you're a professional outfitter or a novice DIYer like me. 2 guys on the yard helped us match some existing block pavers and while there I found some end of line bricks for a wall I'm building. No pushy sales, went home measured up and called and spoke to Terry. He was very helpful took details and called us back within 10mins with the info we required. They delivered our first order 2 days after ordering. Myron kept us informed of our delivery slot and unloaded neatly on the side of our drive sending conformation of delivery, all excuted perfectly with a smile. Its rare to find a company that from the point of contact through to delivery maintains a high level of quality severice, that is knowledgeable, proffessional and friendly. This place has it all, choice, price and severice.

Made my order with Carvers. Then check reviews, I thought have I done the right thing after reading poor reviews.
I had no need to worry. My goods arrived on time. I found the staff to be very helpful.
I would definitely order again from them.

This company seems to exist in the dark ages as far as customer service. I had to call them twice just to register on their website and order some paint. They took the money immediately but my order never appeared on the site. I waited a week for delivery notification, but none came. I phoned again twice to get a delivery date, but no luck, just a vague answer. My emails went unanswered, so in the end I cancelled the order and went to another company who were cheaper, dispatched the same day for delivery in two days time and free.

Excuses and poor service

A generational company stuck in the past with regard to customer service as many of the reviews testify.
Ask them to ring before delivery so I can have the farm yard gate open, they don't, they just turn up when they feel like it and then try driving up the drive to the house leaving deep tyre imprints in the lawn, destroying it. All you get is excuses about drivers and a cut-and-pasted, sorry. Order gas and they don't turn up, again excuses, drivers sick, running behind, but they don't think it would be right to tell you. Except when you ring up the office staff, tell the truth that there was no delivery planned, you would be forgiven for thinking it was never booked by the staff member who said they would book it, they simply forgot.
Can't leave a 1 star since they are very effecient at one thing, chasing for payment! When its payment, suddenly they are able to email and ring multiple times.

Wolverhampton 28/2/2025 3:45pm I wanted to fill up my car with gas, the service man was so lazy that he didn't want to do it, he shamelessly ignored me!!!

there were two people at the guardhouse and neither of them wanted to fill up my car, wouldn't it be easier to do self-service there? since it's too hard work for these people !

We looked at this internally and we close our main gate at around that time which would be the only reason why you would get refused entry for car gas. None of our staff have flat out refused to serve anybody at our car gas facility of which we serve many people every day and have plenty of cover for breaks.

I bought a range cooker from Carvers seven years ago. I was very happy with the service when I bought and have had another excellent experience recently when the team moved my cooker to alone a new floor to be laid. They went out of their way to accommodate the dates I needed and were highly efficient, professional and pleasant

Ordered Milton Buff bricks from Carvers…

Ordered Milton Buff bricks from Carvers online it shows a golden creamy colour upon delivery they were Red Bricks. When I called and asked them about the bricks. There response was yeah there should be a few of the cream ones in them you need to mix them with the red. If I wanted to mix my bricks I would have ordered mix bricks. After returning the bricks I was refunded my money back but after they deducted nearly over £500, claiming that's for re stocking cost.

They had to restock because of there own fault the website was showing different pictures. Total Scam I would never order from them again as I've just been scammed and out of pocket.

Terrible delivery Experience and customer service WEB0009278


Ordered 6 x 25kg Bags of limestone chippings.
Turned up on a pallet with nails sticking up, bags ripped and soaking wet.

Advised the delivery driver I could not get rid of a wooden pallet.

Had to hand carry the bags into the Garage trying to keep the contents from falling out.

No assistance from the delivery driver except a comment "watch that bag its ripped as well"

My clothing got covered in lime.

The chipping ordered were for a Garage Roof hence I faced further issues when carrying the bags up a set of ladders. (Wet leaking Bags)

Raised the matter with Carvers.

Response below

"Spoken to the Yard Foreman to inform his Staff to make sure any pallets with nails in them are hammered down and not sticking up to prevent this happening again."

So, Carvers the one-star review is well earned.
