Scam Alert – CarvinSolution.com and VinAnalyzr.com Are Not Legitimate VIN Report Sites

I was recently scammed while trying to sell my car on Facebook Marketplace. Different “buyers” contacted me, each pretending to be interested in the vehicle but said they didn’t trust Carfax and requested I pull a VIN report from CarvinSolution.com (some fake buyers said to use Vinanalyzr.com)

Unfortunately, I fell for it—only to find out the “report” is Carfax! These sites are not legitimate, and their main purpose is to trick private sellers into paying for VIN reports. The “buyers” disappear after you purchase the report, and you’re left with nothing of value.

🚫 Avoid both CarvinSolution.com and VinAnalyzr.com
✅ Stick with trusted sources like Carfax or AutoCheck
🛑 Do NOT trust any buyer who insists on using a specific unknown VIN report site

I’m leaving this review to warn others—please don’t fall for the same scam I did.
