Do not believe these 5 star reviews!!
We arrived at Rhodes Airport at 15 minutes late at 22:15 and were supposed to be collected by a minibus at 22:00, I called the office numerous times as soon as we were allowed to take the phone out of flight mode but no answer.
I went straight outside but they were nowhere to be seen, we even asked some other rental companies for help finding them but they were definitely not there, even though it states on their booking form that there is 1 hour leeway.
We had to get a taxi to our resort costing €90 and I called them at 8am the following morning. They never offered an explanation as to why they were not there to collect us and said that it was classed as a no show and that our car was not unavailable for hire. I then spent a day trying to find another car for our holiday. Terrible service, DO NOT USE THESE SCAMMERS.

Great service. Great car and price. Shuttle from and to the airport.

They are so unreliable and theives
I called to tell them that my flight was delayed and the guy I spoke was very rule and all he was concerned is about extra fees
The same time I was receiving a call from the same company
Someone else was calling me to confirm the time , I told him that we will be late and he said it’s absolutely fine
But obviously the greedy guy would not let it go like that
He then asked for a fee
Why should I pay an extra fee when I’m taking the car later not earlier, and within their working hours
Anyway I cancelled the company
Will never use them again and advice you not too if you want to be stress free

dear trustpilot please please firm up how you check for fake reviews. Having been scammed by carwiz myself and left stranded and skint. I really cannot believe the 5 star reviews left here. I believe it is highly likely that carwiz customer service spend much of their time creating fake email accounts in order to leave 5 star reviews for carwiz. I'm sure of that because when I ring or email them they have zero interest in helping me get a car or a refund.
My experience was this ...I arrived 1 hour late and they had given my reserved car to another person, and refused a refund and refused to help find another car. You'll see if you read the other 1 star reviews here and on Google that this specific scam seems to be possible when they just mention their 'terms and conditions'.
I would love to list a big long list of swear words hear to describe the frustration caused by this terrible company to many jolly travellers who have had their holidays spoiled.

By Reading the rest of the comments I was convinced that everything is done deliberately with a trick, aiming to charge!!!
1. They were 45-50 minutes late picking us up and the excuse was: "since when do airlines come on time?" That was supposed to be a joke!!!!
2. We took pictures when we received it (without anyone from the company recommending it to us, since we were bluntly told it is a policy and all employees recommend it to customers). Unfortunately at the specific point they found a tiny speck on the mirror but our photo was not clear and they charged us 149 euros!

3. We had a clean car until a wave next to the road stained the car 2 days before delivery. No one told us to deliver it washed but they charged us 149 euros for washing and polishing just in case it was scratched in the wash.
They didn't even let us go and wash it to prove that for 10 euros it would clean just fine.
BAD behavior and they really set traps for their customers!

Our Easyjet flight was 1hr 40mins late, which we all know happens a lot on flights from UK, and when we got to the Chania Airport branch, they said they had cancelled our booking because we hadn't told them we were going to be late. Still fighting to get our money back. DO NOT USE

NOW I HAVE TO DO THROUGH DISPUT PROCESS WITH MY BANK TO GET THE MONEY BACK.

Car Wiz - Zakynthos Airport, booked through CarJet, beware. Firstly they will leave you at the airport waiting, we had to wait about an hour. They will then try to sell you their own insurance at € 186 . I had already paid €89 prior to arriving for Premium Excess Waiver so said no thank you, he Nikos the manager then became verbally intimidating and said he will take €400 on my credit card and hold for 21 days when he will return it if no damage to the car, I agreed to this. My daughter was with me at the time and suggested when I return the car I might want to bring my son as we witnessed a female couple returning their car and they were saying there was scratches under the front bumper, they were arguing outside the office (in hindsight we should have left then).
Lucky for us a previous renter had left their rental paperwork in the glove box and low and behold there was a note from Nikos saying "scratches under bumper" so I kept hold of it.

When returning the car, undamaged and fuel replaced as agreed, Niko and an older guy spent a long time looking for damage and then said, there is damage under the the bumper, we said no way, he said feel under there, under the plastic bumper! He said he wants €400 ! Well a lot of shouting started, firstly he tried to say the car was new and unused, we said not true , so I showed him the paperwork from previous renter with the note on it "scratches under bumper" he was now very cross and insisted I give him that paperwork, I refused, he tried to take it from me, I said I was going to call the police.

Another family were collecting their car, I went to speak to them and they said they were now very concerned as they too had refused the €186 extra insurance.
We eventually left, I refused to pay the €400 and its awkward as they have to return you to the airport and we were now running late!
Called my Credit Card company who have cancelled the card and have put CarWiz on a scammers list, so if it happens to you, please report to your bank.

It really put a downer on what until then had been a wonderful holiday.

Awful company to be avoided at all costs. My flight was delayed by just over an hour and when I got to the counter 40 minutes late they said they'd cancelled my PREPAID reservation and had no other cars. Kept a chunk of my money for nothing and double booked my prepaid car. They are an absolute fraud, when I complained they kicked me out of the office despite having a baby and two elderly people with me and it was 40 degrees celsius. Contemplating legal action.

Very uncomplicated handover of the car, will not sell you things you don’t need, practically no waiting times. Will definitely rent again from you guys.

Professional scammers .give them your credit card and they will drain it all the way after they keep your security deposit for no reason .avoid at all costs .big time thieves

Car performed great, nicely maintained, good experience.

At the time of pick up at Zakynthos airport, it took at least 30 minutes to give us the car, despite there was only one other customer in front of us. Then we were made psychological terrorism so that we could buy their full insurance policy (150 euros for 7 days). In my denial, since I had purchased the full policy on RentalCars, I was told that it was personal and that, in case of small scratches and dents, we would charge a minimum of 400 euros to a maximum of 800. When the desk lady is delivered, remembering us, confabula with her colleague, who comes to verify the conditions of the car. To make you understand bad faith, the boy notices two small signs and immediately tells us they are scratches. We, passing over a nail, point to him that it is simple dirt. Then he starts looking everywhere and the tins discovers a 1 mm scratch and another equal to the same size on the front bumper near the wheel. I repeat 1 mm.
So we were charged 410 euros for the damage, which we probably didn't cause, since we didn't do collisions or anything else.

MYKONOS AIRPORT

PICK UP DAY:
Two hours after I got the car key, I was on my way to the supermarket when the key dropped on the floor and it literally dismantled into 5 pieces, which was very odd to me because usually car keys do not break that easy. Especially when it’s 40/50 cm to the floor. You literally need to hit it super hard or drive on it for it to be that damaged. I tried to assemble it together with an hair elastic and when about my trip the key was still working..

The car I got had an issue with the power engine which I wasn’t informed of it had difficulties going up hills. I’ve been advised from few nice locals to switch of the air conditioning to improve the car performance. If it wasn’t for those people helping pushing the car up from behind I would have been stuck on a hill.. I called carwiz telling them about the issue and instead of guiding me in what to do they literally said why you calling maybe is you who don’t know how to drive it and all they could say was drive the car back to the office. Usually you offer the costumer a road service pick you when the car gives issues while driving..

DELIVERY CAR AT THE AIRPORT
I deliver the car and gave the key and explained what happened and Then worker proceeds and asked me if I drop the keys in the water and I said why will I do that? I was on my way to the supermarket! Who will bring the car key in the ocean?
The manager trying to make me pay €400 for the car key, which I have denied and said it makes no sense for me because car keys shouldn’t break that easy after one drop and fall into 5 pieces I didn’t I dropped the key from a rooftop! The height length was from my hand to the floor.. after arguing for 30 min the manager offered to go down to €125 which I refused and said I wasn’t paying for nothing!

Getting a closer look to the car key have noticed that the car key has been glued together previously, meaning that the car key was already broken when I got it delivered upon arrival, there was some white residue on the edge of the key.

They called the police on me which I was very ready for because it was unfair for me to pay the 400€ for something that was probably already broken and they’re trying to scam me for! The police arrived. We talked for literally 10 minutes and then they let me go.

They said they’re gonna make a report they took my password and they said that if I want to sue or complain about the company, then I should come to the police station, but I didn’t have any time because my flight was departing in one hour so I went online and a report instead.

Advice to everyone stay away from this company they will trying to scam you! The costumer service was bad! and they will find anything to get money out of you!

We got everything we booked and the whole staff was very friendly, quick and helpful!

Tremendous service, the lady there was good and understanding, the guy was horrible and was looking for money money only.
Long story short, we paid for flight delay out of the hours just in case, lots of flight on the 1st of July arrived late to Chania Crete cause of the lazy French air traffic control that again decided to be on strike for some random reason. The guy there was rude and refuse to understand what’s going and simply rather than going with what the booking and vouchers says, he was cutting our conversation with the lady that was doing everything to sort it out without any extra charges.
Buttom line, unless they will refund us as we are planning to do a formal complain, we will never ever use Carwiz again, also regarding fuel we chose the option that says full to full, but they gave us the car 1/6 which is very tricky to fill to that level. Unprofessional , rude and thieves avoid at all costs.(Charged us unlawfully €100 extra to pick the car) will never ever use again.

Hired a great little car from Chania airport- staff were courteous and pleasant. Unfortunately the car was struck by another vehicle while it was parked which caused damage. I explained when I returned the car and it wasn't a problem. even though I didn't take the full insurance I was only charged 250 euros to repair the damage which I thought was very reasonable.
