Cash app mislead and deceptive business practices

The only reason cash app got a star so I could write a review. Cash app has comment on all 18 reviews with please reach out to us in the app and we will give your situation the attention it deserves and when I reach out to cash app in the app absolutely no help. I find these comments misleading and deceptive business practices and i will file a complaint with the federal trade comission because this against the law. Giving me hope I would get the HELP IS ABSOLUTELY ABSURD AND HEARTLESS AS I HAVE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH AND YOU KEEP DRAGGING ME AROUND LIKE AO

LOST PUPPY I HAVE SUFFER ENOUGH AND STILL SUFFERING IN WHICH CASH APP WANTS TO PLAY GAMES. One of the comments reach out said please give us a second chance to make it right and still nothing another one said we hear everything you shared the length of the dispute the financial impacted i described and how it affected my family and how they understand how much this experience weighted on you please reach out to our teamim so my case can get review and yet i do and nothing thats very misleading and feels like someone is taking a knife in my chest all over again. Dont say things you dont mean just to make yourself look good because you playing with my feelings and thats not right. I feel like this is ground hogs day over and over again when I was fighting my dispute last year. Cash app i dont have the energy or the patience to continue to go back and forth because i just dont have it in me if it wasnt for my child who needs me and lost everything they had I would have left this earth along time ago because the stress this has cause me and the hurt is unbearable most days and for cash app continue to play games makes it much worse and it has cross my mind to just leave this earth it would be much easier but Im not leaving my child behind and giving cash app the satisfaction. So if I decide to leave it will be 100 percent on cash app I promise you that much. I update my review cash app doesnt respond to the updated review letting them know i reached out in the app with no help like talking to concrete wall. The customer service reps states we cant help you your account has been closed and it has for the last 2 years what does that got to do with anything or tell me to cal law enforcement if cash app had secruity measures in the first place i woudlnt be leaving bad reviews. I will not reach out to cash app in the app anymore because it doesnt do any good they want to just play games and im tired of playing games pay me for my damages you cause me. The customer service reps dont know how to handle my situation in asking for damages but the way they talk they dont know what im talking about and file a complaint in which the complaint department will email me back and say your dispute was resolved im so happy for you well if thats not a slap in the face i dont know what is. I hope cash app employees never find themselves in my position but there is a thing call Karma and what cash app did to me it will come back to the individuals who put me in the situation it always does.
Cash app only makes comments to look like they care and is trying to help to make themselves look good but I will continue to make reviews to let people know my situation has not been resolved and when I contacted cash app im being told the dispute was resolved sure the dispute was paid what about the damages it cause me in the meantime. Cash app took over a year to pay my dispute the amount of 15000.00 so we are not talking pennies here at all. I dispute the withdraws back in March 2024 when someone add their debit card to my account I argue for over a year trying to get my money back to save my house truck and personal items and it was to late I lost everything on numerous occasions I told cash app if I dont get my money back i will lose everything you know they respond with find a shelter and a food bank. My child was almost taken from me by DSS because I was homeless and cash app was like to bad to sad your dispute has been denied and then in April 2025 you paid the dispute with no explanation at all. A federal agency found you gulity of breaking consumer laws you find yourself breaking them because you paid the dispute and if that doesnt have guilt written all over it I dont know what does and im a 100 percent certain a judge will find you guilty making cash app pay damages and much more consider i have been trying to recoup my damges and cash app is playing games as always and a judge will see that for himself that cash app is not even trying to make it right and throw the book at cash app because it doesnt seem like cash app gives a crap and already was found guilty by a federal agency. Cash app wont look good in court and I promise you that and dont say it has to go through abritration because I have a screenshot stating from one of cash app reps that my account didnt have the abritration agreement only cash app investing accounts had the abritration agreement.

Cashapp rejects legit cash transfers

I've used cashApp for almost a year. I've used it to buy some crypto and to send Bitcoin to some friends. Only had one minor problem which turned out to be a bug in their app. But the last few days I've had nothing but grief with this company. I had a friend who wanted to send me some money he owed me. I said use cashApp. So he used the cash send function. He found my $cashtag and I received both an email and a message from cashApp that the money was waiting. I went to the activity page, found the transfer and accepted it. Was informed that the money would be available soon. Within 15 seconds I received an email that the transfer has been rejected and the reason "cash not sent". Told him to try again with the same result. Contacted them by chat and spent 15 minutes dealing with their chatbot which is worthless. Finally got a human and spent another 15 minutes being given the same canned responses about the fact that the transaction has been rejected to protect both of us from fraudulent activity. How is someone sending me money fraud? He's returning money I lent to him last year. Finally the woman tells me the case is closed and she's sorry but there's nothing she can do to change the outcome. Didn't tell me why they suspected fraud. Found our later today a friend of mine had the same problem with them and the sender was his brother. I think they have a major problem with the algorithm that handles the transfers and it randomly rejects first time transfers. No idea why. So my friend is going to need to find another way to send the money. This is the second time I've had issues with their algorithms and they refuse to fix the problem or provide a mechanism to mediate these issues. They just blow you off with a sorry can't help you. Worthless company. They can go out of business any time and I won't be upset.

Can't stand this app

Can't stand this app! So I had HAD an overdraft balance of 50$ for ever all of a sudden they drop my 50$ to 10$ without any explanation other than it's cuz my money coming in. This month I made more money than any other month so don't u think they should of upped it instead? This business is on some discrimination bs. Give me my 50$ limit back, jerks!

Cashapps agents won't tell you anything…

Cashapps agents won't tell you anything about your own account. I tried to link a new card and was informed I couldn't cause the card was linked to many times. It was a brand new card never linked to anything. Then the agent on the chat wouldn't tell Me anything. Cashapp now charges to add money from your linked account to cashapp and charges u to with draw money from cashapp to your linked account. Cashapp is garbage in general and treats customers like crap

What a blessing it is to have Cashapp

What a blessing it is to have Cashapp! This company is amazing, as are all their employees. Each time I needed help, there is always a human there to help me, advise me, encourage me, to be kind and friendly. I've never had a bad experience with Cashapp.

USELESS CUSTOMER SUPPORT -No help at all!

I just reactivated my CashApp account today and am sorry I did. I tried to transfer funds to CashApp, not realizing that my debit card had a $2000 limit but I needed to transfer more. So CashApp blocked my account - I contacted Support that was totally useless! Because I had a few cancelled transfers, they refused to help and said "the cancelled transfers would drop off my account in 1 to 3 days"! REALLY??? That's their solution?? What are they in business for? They did nothing to help at all - there was no manager on staff to talk to and it took over 4 hours for the manager to email me! So what's he gonna say - sorry!! WORTHLESS - DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH CASHAPP - There are companies dying for business that will bend over backwards to get you as a customer and Cashapp is not one of them! Why do they even have support when they're unable to do anything for customers! Save the minimum wage your paying that poor guy and just let people suffer because they'll suffer whether or not your have Support because Support is USELESS!

I have started using they credit…

I have started using they credit builder but the app never prompt me to set up any payment or direct debit etc so I was unaware that they report missed loan payment on my report for 2 months. Suddenly they cancelled the thing and made me look like I defaulted on a loan whilst they have done absolutely nothing to help me build my credit score actually quite the opposite messed up everything and won’t take any responsibility for it. Horrible horrible company and services

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. They will deny your rights to dispute a charge and then when you call you’ll be hung up on without cause. The chat support is abysmal. Three different non-US based speaking agents hung up on me. I got a hold of a manger who re-filed the dispute and it was still denied. I will be following up with VISA as they should not be permitted to carry that name on ANY of their products.

Cash app is the worst app around

Cash app is the worst app around. I tried to change my name in the care since they sent a misspelled name as a replacement and I ask for a change and uploaded my id and took a photo of myself and they still wouldn’t change it and said someone would email me and they never did. And also I constantly have to re-explain myself to every rep. Sad..

1 Star is way too much for THIS company, I made a phone call on 11/7/2023 at 2:35 agent hang up called back at 2:36 got a outsource agent NAME LUKA NOT SURE IF IT IS HIS REAL NAME OR FAKE NAME had no training in customer service at all he was very rude and unprofessional with abusive behavior. didn't assist at all refused to get me a manager as well.This company is outsourcing their staff with no knowledge or proper training to assist consumers. This company is rigged and so corrupt. THE GOVERMENT NEED TO STEP IN AND SHUT IT DOWN FOR GOOD.
