THIS COMPANY IS TOTALLY SCAMMED!! THEY KEEP TELLING ME THAT THE FUNDS WAS ALREADY BEEN SEND. BUT ITS BEEN 5 DAYS ALREADY I HAVENT RECEIVED MY FUNDS YET. MY APPLICATION BEEN APPROVED, Ive SIGNED THE AGREEMENT CONTRACT. AND NOW ASKING MY SIGNATURE? HOW COME THEY RELEASED THE CONTRACT WITH DUE DATE AND THE AMOUNT TO BE DEDUCTED TO MY ACCOUNT IF I HAVE NO SIGNATURE AT ALL??? DOESNT MAKE ANYSENSE. NOW, ASK ME TO CALL MY BANK FOR THE.INCOMING DEPOSIT.?

This company does not answer emails or calls. They have terrible customer service and they will overcharge your account. THEY STEAL FROM YOUR ACCOUNT and you should 100% avoid ever contacting this company or doing business with them.

first off this is not false I have employment income and disability income however for some reason I apply and get declined every single time

I have been a loyal customer for a whole year. All of the sudden my applications keep expiring. Finally the 4th application got approved and I signed the contract. I waited 4 days to get the funds and never got the money. I emailed multiple times, first they said that they sent the funds and to wait for the next day, then they said there was a problem with my bank, then they said the IBV was not syncing when I uploaded all my documents manually, because they do not give you the option to do instant banking verification on their website, next they said to reapply and they would rectify my problem right away, I reapplied and my application expired again. So I give up. They don't know what they are doing. Stay away from this company, they are a waste of time when you need emergency funds.

This company upgraded their website but their phone number doesn't work. They don't answer their emails. When you pay off your loan, they don't take off that you have paid off. It's been 6 hours and I'm still waiting for them to say this loan is cleared. Questionable practices when they don't respond to anything. Emails all day have gone unanswered.

No consistency. They'll approve one month and then leave you hanging the next month when nothing has changed and not approve a reloan. Won't return emails. They spiffed up their website and are trying to sell their merch. What a joke! They don't give a crap if you've given them your business in past. I doubt anyone there has any financial background or experience.

This company will unlawfully share info with employers, family and friends (references) which is a complete violation of Ontario Consumer Protection laws.
The rarely reply to emails and, if they do, they send some copy/paste reply that has nothing to do with your email to them.
They are almost impossible to reach by phone and the one time I managed to get an actual live person, they had no clue what I was talking about and could barely speak English.
This is a VERY sketchy company.

I have taken out loans with this company for months now. I always pay it on time and sometimes,pay it in full to get a larger loan. This past Friday, I have fully paid my loan so I can reloan. It took them 7 hours before they decide to reject my application. I had to wait 24 hrs to reapply. I submitted it yesterday and just today, they sent me a rejection email.

I would perfectly understand if the email includes the reason of the rejection but it doesn't have any and mind you, they would call you multiple times a day to remind of the upcoming payments. This company's practices are very disrespectful and annoying.

I had a terrible experience with Jason at Cash Cowboy. I originally returned the loan amount ($1,000) within hours of receiving it on July 4, 2025. Despite this, Cash Cowboy still withdrew a total of $734.73 from my account over the following weeks (three deductions of $244.91 each).

When I originally sent the loan money back, Jason acknowledged the transaction and said he would waive the $50 fee, but the issue was never properly corrected. Instead of resolving it, he sent back the $1000 again, accused me of taking his money, even though I had already proven that I returned the loan (I forwarded screenshots of the account records) and had payments coming out without an active loan.

The communication was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I went to the police about the matter and that’s when he got ugly. I did apologize on my behalf for being angry with him over this but it was just a horrible experience all around.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise staying away from Cash Cowboy.

Slow and sketchy- they claim fast service it’s not - will leave you hanging for hours . No response to emails - phone number provided on website and email is not in service . Its like no one works there - or it’s a one man show - either way this place is super sketchy - they collect your banking info and then ghost you - what kind of company provides a disconnected phone #???

These people will call your employer, family and anyone else you have given them contact information for and do their best to ruin your life. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE LOSERS. They have no physical address, they hide behind anonymity and are a bunch of cowards. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS!!!!

So I was late in paying back. That’s true. But I paid back yesterday. And they sent me an email to reapply and they’ve still not updated my file. They’re still showing me having an outstanding payment. What a disgraceful agency. They can’t even take care of their own files.

Run away. Far. I’ve used every cash place/payday loan service in Ontario and my bank has never cancelled an EMT.

I gpt a loan from for 300 n they are over charging ppl interest rates it's 14% not 29% cos if u paying 100 each payment it should only take 3 paydays to pay off not 5 to 6 months you should not paying off paying them back around 600 for a 300 loan
They should be giving back ppl there extra money back they scammed off ppl

Think say they're quick and they'll get the job done. They'll get you the money within 2 hours. I'm on my fourth application in 3 days. They've yeah, the last 3 have expired. On my fourth one, it's about to expire to I don't know what the hell the problem is, but they really let me down. Especially considering I sent 4 or 5 emails and I did not get one reply. Not one reply from them, not a single one. And this whole process started february ninth, it's now the thirteenth

This company puts the FUN in dysFUNctional. 5 contact messages in less then 18 hours. Emails and 3 phone calls all starting at 7am waking up the household. What this company will do for a few hundred bucks lol good thing i didn't owe $800...detectives would be hired. Funny part about all this is it was already paid. Terrible service hence nobody responds back. Also contacted the BBB to investigate as its against the law to contact you more than 3 times in a week let alone 5 times in just over half a day.

This company withdrew an additional $200 from me. Advised it was their mistake and said I have a credit. They now have not returned it, disconnected their number and are not answering emails. This is a criminal organization. I have filed consumer protection complaints and a complaint with the FCAC, further their office does not exist. Be wary of these criminals

I typically never write reviews when it comes to loans because I believe everyone has their own unique experience, and I wouldn’t want to mislead anyone. However, the extraordinary humanity and support Jason has shown me during an incredibly difficult period of grief is something I feel compelled to mention.

I borrowed from this company twice with my child tax and, repaid on time. It's the holidays and I paid my loan back successfully now they are telling me I'm not approved.. if I could give 0 stars I would, also, you can never get a hold of anyone on the customer service phone number and it takes forever for a email response.. a bunch of scammers!

Cash Cowboy is a complete joke. They don't have any means of communication, they don't respond back to any emails no matter how many times you send them. They have a phone number you can call with an automated system that gives you options to choose from but when you choose to talk to them you press zero and then it says invalid option goodbye! This business in my opinion is complete scam. There very inconsistent, unreliable and as for a loyal customers that have been with them for years they decline your applications. With no explanation or communication. Bad business practice in my opinion. I will take my business elsewhere and I highly recommend everyone to not use the service.
