My vehicle was to be picked up from a body shop
My vehicle was to be picked up from a body shop. I was told twice that on pickup day I would get a call at least one hour before the pickup which would allow me enough time to coordinate with work to leave and be at the shop to insure nothing was owed to the shop, to hand over the title, and to receive the check. During setting up the pickup I confirmed two additional times that I would reca call at least an hour before to give me time to get there. On the day of pickup I received a call from the driver and I could not understand a word he was saying. The shop called me back and said the tow truck driver was there waiting for me. I was then thrown into the mad rush to get to a stopping point at work and get over there before the driver left. The frantic exchange soured what would’ve been a good experience.
