Extraordinarily easy process to obtain quote for vehicle and have vehicle towed from property.
The price for the vehicle was fair given the mileage and condition of the automobile.

Completely disorganized. Poor communication on proper paperwork and filling out the title paper to their standards causing more problems and then being told it was my fault. Not sure where these people are working from in each department, but definitely was a headache situation!

Got a great offer and accepted quickly. They picked up the vehicle and paid on the spot. No problems, easy experience!

Very frustrating experience. Although we were pleased with the offer it took numerous texts, phone calls and emails with several different people. Photos of car, title, notary seal requested more than once after I submitted more than once. Then offer was reduced twice from original amount we accepted. Set appointment for tow truck to pick up vehicle. Was told repeatedly we had to be there with keys and notarized title to hand to driver to receive our check. Car was towed without our knowledge, without keys or title. And NO CHECK to us. Many plans to meet driver at some point to get check. Never happened. We finally had to drive to Copart in Mebane to pick up our check and then drive to Greensboro to deposit in our bank. Seems like nobody knew what they were doing. But thanks for buying our car.

The overall experience was not great.
During the whole process with CoPart Direct I spoke to only 2 people that could even understand English properly and wouldn't try to argue. They don't understand that if your car is being charged a storage fee at a lot that they can't get the car without you. They demand you pay the bill and have it picked up 2 days later. Which then charges more to a storage fee and they CANT GET THE CAR WITHOUT YOU ANYWAYS.

Next when picking up the car I spoke to 2 people at the Mebane office. I was told by the first lady who called the driver they could get it that day. I told them it was am hour away from me and so they said to head that way and they'd call me when they can get it that day. They never called. So I had to call them and spoke to another lady and told me I was wasting my time because their driver couldn't get it. I explained the situation of how I lived an hour away and couldn't afford to pay another day of storage and they found a driver to get it thankfully.

I wish I could remember either of their names so they could be acknowledged for their good work. The office in Mebane did a good job. Dealing with the office itself was pleasant except for the driver issue which was resolved quickly.

I will not be using this company again however. That is not because of the office in Mebane. It is solely because of CoPart Direct. CoPart Direct is absolutely terrible to deal with.
