Very easy process
I filled out the info online. It gave me a quote. A day & time window was set up. I had to get everything out of the car, remove the plates, sign the title, and have all keys available. The tow company texts an hour before arriving. They pick up the vehicle, write you the check, and you give them the title & keys. Then, they email you the info to show your vehicle was sold to them. That info is then used for tax purposes or the DMV to show the vehicle was sold. I hope this info helps someone. Ty

Poor communication
It took 3/4 days before the vehicle was picked up. I was being told by dispatch that they would be coming by the end of the day. I didn't see the point in scheduling a pick up date. The pick up process should have been explained when the sale was final.

The names says it all
honestly, it was a sad day for me when my dream car died but lucky for me, I connected with cash4cars. They saved me. They arranged to tow my car for free, quoted me a fair price (better than trade in) saved me some money (storage fees) and FedExed me a check 1 day later. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Fraud - Nightmare ExperIence
Car was sold August 7. Check was a chargeback because the bank was unable to locate the account. I received a call Friday the 16th and they were overnighting a new check via FedEx. No big surprise that it’s Monday night and still no payment.

The company wrote me a check on an invalid account. The have my car and the title and I have nothing. I called yesterday and they were supposed to follow up by end of day and they did not.
