I'm at frequent user of this Cash 4 Clothes. The lady there is always helpful. Sometimes there's a queue but that is a good excuse for a coffee. They only take good quality stuff, but you are getting £1 per kilo, which is really good. Always happy with the service I receive.

Rude lady in Gillingham branch

Rude lady in Gillingham branch. This is an unscrupulous business trying to make as much profit as they can. Staff needs to have some training in manners. Unnecessary attitude and make you feel very bad. You are not doing yourself any favours. Avoid and take your stuff to charity instead.

A friend and I found out about the…

A friend and I found out about the Banbury clothes bank and arranged a trip yesterday morning to take over a bag of clothes. We managed to find it okay and it seemed straight forward as we never been before and I've always donated to a charity shop. The lady inside wasn't very nice, while we were opening the door the lady was talking to us and we didn't hear what she was saying, so after I said " hello" and explained that we didn't hear her, the look in her face when she had to repeat what she had said, "you'll have to come back in 40 minutes", no explanation to the reason why but we could see that there was a few black bags on the floor but it was the way she spoke to us that we decided not to go back and found some clothes bins for salvation army close by and so we decided to offload them there.

Shame on these Clowns !!!!!

Collection this morning in Darlington, Cash4Clothes (Northallerton based). Many bags left outside for collection, perfectly good jeans, trousers, shirts, shorts and jumpers. all good condition. Horrified they had collected bags, driven off and no payment through door as promised. RIP OFF MERCHANTS< DO NOT ENTERTAIN, Donate, straight to a charity shop, Salvation Army. 30p a Kilo if collected, so you wouldn't get paid much anyway. I am afraid I will not be helping 3rd World citizens again. How dare these people RIP us off. SjR DL1 5DN Also when phoned number on web, of course, not accepting calls !!!!!!!!!! Cash for clothes Newport Road, Cardiff

I have used cash for clothes on Newport Road in Cardiff for over 10 years. The staff have always been very good and friendly. Approximately 80-90% of the contents of my bags have always been taken. Unfortunately, my experience with the elderly female today was awful. She was very rude to start with and told me I had put too many bags on her table and just shoved them off. She then inspected every item and to be fair, should probably have used a magnifying glass for the extent she was examining them. She rejected clothes for very petty reasons, such as a tiny insignificant mark. I think the elderly female should realise that whilst the clothes handed in need to be in good condition, they are used clothes and not new. Several nice, good condition handbags were also rejected as the elderly female deemed them to be out of fashion. It is a shame that other people have been prevented from benefiting from nice clothes and handbags due to this elderly female’s poor judgement. I have since taken my 5 bags to another company who examined them and were extremely grateful. This will be my new ‘go to’ company. Shame on you ediltex Newport Road, this female has let down all the lovely girls that have worked there over the years.

Obviously the needy are too selective according to C4Cash

Went to clothes for cash in Collier Row though accepted some clothes declined some mysteriously. Is the third world and needy that selective to not accept a cardigan cause items bobbles, a gillet in great condition designer tee shirts.
Obviously the needy in this world are not that needy as I have gone back to wearing them myself!

Having to declutter

Having to declutter and clear my mums house as well as help my sister move produces a lot of stuff unwanted and in these day a few penny for stuff that will be thrown is a great help
I got introduced by my daughter.…. Omg what a game changer these people work bloody hard and fast I didn't think I would get anything for my crap let alone some one else buying it in a different country
This service is amazing its like a gold fish bowl watching them sort threw your stuff you've only worn once or bought and then grown out of 😆
I went to the Gillingham one in dobbies
They where really friendly and explained everything
No its not a charity and yes they sell your clothes on but instead of a dress, bumper, shoes that are sitting in the closet and gathering dust destined for the tip why not get money back for them x
So I had three bin bags full I thought I would get 3/4 back but to my amazement I got 1/5 back
And a nice lot of cash
Omg I am now hooked I've been four time and this is going to be another trip soon omg it Life changing to be able to have a good clear out yes I've used vinted but I am lazy and this is the easiest way
Hats off to the people who work at these places especial the Gillingham branch

Went to clothed for cash in…

Went to clothed for cash in Basingstoke, near Home base. Submitted 5 work jackets, 15 tops (one still had £26 on tag)
Shoes (never worn) all these were in excellent condition. I was given £2.20 for the lot. Absolute rip off. I'd rather give any future good quality direct to charity.
