Thank you for sharing your feedback. We want to clarify a few important points for transparency.

ID verification is clearly mentioned in our Terms of Service which all members agree to upon registration. While CashInStyle does not require verification by default, it becomes necessary only when an account is flagged by our external security systems. A flag does not mean wrongdoing, it simply means additional verification is required to safely proceed.

In your case, the account was flagged due to a connection risk signal. This does not mean a VPN was confirmed but it does require verification to clear the flag. Unfortunately, when verification cannot be completed, we are left with no option to release funds as doing so would put our platform and partners at risk.

Your account was closed at your request not as a penalty, and no action was taken until that request was made.

Regarding reviews: CashInStyle does not pay for Trustpilot reviews. All reviews are from real users and Trustpilot actively monitors and removes incentivized or fake reviews. We also operate a public Discord community with nearly 9,000 members, where users openly share feedback and payment proof in real time.

For ID verification, we use Persona, a trusted verification provider that is widely used by many well-known and established Get Paid To websites and other online platforms. The vast majority of our members complete verification without any issues.

We understand how frustrating this experience was and genuinely regret that the verification step did not work for you. We wish you the best of luck on platforms that may be a better fit and use different security tools.

Thanks for leaving your feedback. I was able to locate your account using your Trustpilot username and it matches the account in our system so I want to clearly explain what occurred.

Your withdrawal was delayed and later denied due to two separate factors:
Your connection was flagged by our security checks
One of our survey partners raised quality concerns on completed surveys

The balance adjustment you noticed was not a manual action by CashInStyle. The chargeback on your account was issued by Cherries (survey partner) for a survey you completed on 12/30/2025. When a survey partner reverses a survey, it means they did not pay us for that completion and in those cases the credited amount must be removed.

At the moment, your chargeback rate is 50%, which is well above what survey partners consider acceptable. Because of this, some rewards were kept on hold and could not be approved for payout.

Chargebacks can happen for several common reasons, including:
1-Completing surveys too quickly
2- Inconsistent or conflicting answers
3- Failing attention or quality checks
4- Providing inaccurate or non-matching information
5- Using unstable or flagged connections (such as VPNs or proxies)

CashInStyle pays out thousands of legitimate withdrawals on a regular basis. However, payouts are only possible when survey partners fully approve the responses and release payment to us. These decisions are made by the survey providers not by CashInStyle and we are unable to override them.

We understand how this situation can feel from the user side but this is an industry-wide process that applies across all GPT platforms using survey providers.

Thank you sharing your feedback and for explaining your concerns in more detail. We genuinely understand how frustrating it can be to invest time into surveys and feel let down by late disqualifications or technical issues.

Survey quality is a shared responsibility between platforms like ours and the market research companies that provide the surveys. You are absolutely right, survey partners reflect on us and we do take responsibility. Before onboarding any survey provider, we review factors such as historical performance, reversal rates, compliance standards and feedback from other get paid to websites owners. We also continuously monitor live performance, including completion rates, user complaints and abnormal patterns.

That said, the market research industry as a whole faces ongoing challenges. Thousands of surveys are launched and unfortunately a percentage suffer from poor targeting, quota closures near completion or technical problems that cause late disqualifications. This is not the experience we want for our members and we actively report these issues and push partners to improve. To help compensate members for this reality, CashInStyle intentionally pays higher rewards than most platforms for the same survey integrations. We want our members to receive better value for their time compared to other sites using identical providers.

Regarding Cherries specifically, they are one of our top-performing partners. They are known for using AI-based matching to better pair users with suitable surveys and for identifying and penalizing sub-providers with high drop-off or chargeback rates. Even with advanced matching in place, there are times when survey availability or targeting limitations prevent a good match and this can occasionally impact the experience despite best efforts. Like CashInStyle, Cherries is a fast-growing market research company and is actively improving its systems to enhance transparency and user experience.

While no platform can completely eliminate poor-quality surveys in such a large ecosystem, we remain committed to higher payouts, transparency, active quality control and continuous feedback loops with our partners. Feedback like yours is taken seriously and directly influences how we evaluate and work with survey providers.

We’d like to clarify an important point about Cherries Surveys. While Cherries is available on multiple platforms, the survey flow, pauses, and terminations are controlled entirely by the survey providers and respondents matching not by CashInStyle itself. We do not have the ability to pause surveys, reset progress or remove time credit manually.

Cherries is a survey provider and its core integration works the same across all websites that use it. However, Cherries is still actively developing their platform and regularly runs A/B testing where new changes might be shown to a portion of users only on specific websites. This means some members may experience different survey behaviors temporarily while improvements are being evaluated.

What A/B testing means:
To improve survey quality and completion rates, Cherries sometimes might show different versions of the survey flow to different groups of users. For example, 50% of users may see the current system while the other 50% are shown a slightly adjusted version to measure results like completion rate, drop-offs or user feedback. This is a common practice used by many tech companies to test improvements before rolling them out to everyone.

Because of this, some users may temporarily experience differences in:
Progress percentage behavior
Survey pauses or redirects
Time-credit adjustments near completion

That said, we fully understand how frustrating this can feel especially when you are close to completion. We will share your feedback with the Cherries team so they can review the experience you described and improve consistency.

While Cherries is available on other platforms, our partnership is exclusive and allows us to offer higher payouts than many alternatives and our goal is to ensure the overall experience matches that value.
