Absolutely disgusting
This company have a lot of ATMs in places including the one in Durham hospital
They've now decided to charge to withdraw money from there - I've seen lies from the company before that it is the card company- however it isn't as I've used one of their machines after this at a garage - no charge.
Being able to use the card in the hospital is a lifeline for visitors to be able to give their loved ones (patients) some money whilst visiting so that they can buy things from the kiosks / shops , staff use it also to withdraw money - what a greedy company (I've not even attempted to use it since - the machine only gives a max of £50 (1.99 charge on this if I remember rightly - it definitely wasn't less) - so if you need to use it twice - then you're paying a charge of near £4

Tried to withdraw £200 from cashzone…

Tried to withdraw £200 from cashzone cashpoint on Wolseley Road Plymouth. It spluttered and opened twice with no money dispensed then reset as if it had. This happend to other people the week before too. I immediatley rang customer service who were no help at all, saying they were independent and nothing they could do, I had to contact my bank to request a refund. It has been nearly two weeks with no money back. £200 is a lot of money not to have. I cannot understand why they are so useless. The machine was working again so an engineer must have come out and fixed the fault, so why have they not admitted it and just given me my money back. They must have more money in the machine than it thinks it dispensed, they have a ATM video of me going loopy, a phone call immediatley after of me telling them what happended, must ahve an egineers report. They have left me struggling finacially and don't care, can't find anyway email contact for caomplaints except a mesage link on their website which doesn't allowed you to write enough words. Avoid their cash machines if you can. It should be illegal to take money from your account for a service and when thats service is not provided for them to say it's not their problem, it's their machine not my banks, This is disgusting. Been 4 weeks and still waiting told could take until 18/08 (so will have been 2 months) for them to investigate and get back to my bank .
Repeatedley told by cash zone that they have until 17/08/25 to repsond. they don't seem to grasp that because the regulation says they have until then, it in no way says they should wait until then and not make any effort to resolve sooner in returning money they have taken under false pretences. Abosoloutley attrotious customer service. AVOID USING THEIR ATM'S AT ALL COSTS!!

ATM did not dispense my £140 despite saying take card and wait for your money. The screen then went to machine out of service, on pressing the cancel button the screen then went back to the welcome screen. The shop where it was located wanted nothing to do with it and when I phoned cashzone they were also totally unhelpful, phone your bank and raise a complaint with them, which I had already done. So money taken from account and now I have to wait 12 working days for my complaint to be looked into. If I do get my money back will I be compensated for the inconvenience, I bet not. What if I needed that money to pay a bill and I had no more money to cover direct debits etc.....would they pay the charges for going into overdraft? No probably not. Do not use cashzone machines, there is something very dodgy about them and frankly you don't need the hassle. Disgraceful absence of service.

CashZone = Horrible Company/Machines

Went to the CashZone ATM in a Glasgow shopping centre, entered £150….cash came out I took my card and within seconds it closed and took my money back. Phoned the number on the machine and she said to contact my bank to raised a dispute/refund if it wasn’t back in my account within 24 hrs. Been over 24hours and no money back so now have to wait 18 business days for my bank to write up and contact CashZone to try get my £150 back. Useless machines and company. Avoid at all costs!

I went to the ATM situated at Cordiners…

I went to the ATM situated at Cordiners Spar Comber Rd Dundonald NI. I put my car in to withdraw £50 after few minutes machine said I wouldn't not be charged for transaction I did not get my £50 that was Sat before Easter 19th April 2025. I could not check with bank until Easter Tues 22/4/25 but I was charged the £50. I made a claim my bank contacted cashzone and now I have been told their ATM s money was correct. Another lady behind me tried the same ATM and she didn't get her money either. I am disgusted as £50 is a lot of money to lose.

CASH ZONE CALL UNABLE TO RESOLVE AND TOLD TO CONTACT BANK.

DON'T USE THEM EVER!
We have just used the one in the shop in Camber. It didn't give us the money, but took it out of our account and charged 99p for the transaction.
The shop owner isn't interested and neither are cashzone. If you ring the number on the machine and go through all the number choices they tell you to contact your bank. It's that bad they have a note on the front of the machine.
How is a company like this allowed to trade.
They should be investigated!

Machine swallowed my card after it reset. Fault is completely with them. Train the staff to Stone wall and give them same useless answers. They will repeat the same to answers to any question you have. Vile. One of there reps had the cheek to stay they are globally trusted...yeah mate the trust pilot score shows

Appalling company

Just to reiterate what others have written. Machine ate my card. When I rang and ask them, they said 'tough luck, call your bank'. Rude, inconsiderate, zero sympathy. Sounded east European. Don't go near these machines. Appalling company.

Absolutely useless

Absolutely useless.
Machine has just swallowed my card (apparently this happens weekly) - called the number, the person sounded like they were calling on a tamagotchi(could barely understand or hear her)
Was told to keep waiting (it’s been 20 minutes already) & then to just cancel my card… very unhelpful & pointless even having a number to call!!!!

Everyone who didn't get there cash out at a atm ask your bank for a charge back form fill it in send it back cash zone don't hold your cash your bank put it on temporarily hold it till it's confirmed by cash zone this may take some time but you should get it back and ye am strest your not on ya own

Malfunctioning machine wasted an hour of my life

Machine at Escrick Garage A19 took money (£250 from bank account) retained card and said it was still processing transaction. Waited 3 minutes then asked inside shop - nothing to do with them, had to call number on machine. 5 minutes to answer after call redirection. Woman on phone (Maria) could see money taken from account and card retained but said I had to "make a claim" through my bank to get money back their machine had taken and cancel card.

They reset the machine and despite me warning off several people, one lady put her card in the machine and it was retained without even keying in any info. Neither of us could cancel. I was on phone to Maria and she finally agreed they would close the machine. I asked for confirmation of what had happened by text or mail and she refused; I asked to speak to somebody in charge, no joy; I wanted to seek compensation and she said I had to do this through my bank.

Bank cancelled card and started process to reclaim £250, whilst on phone the money was credited back and bank would not proceed with the claim. I asked for an address to pursue a claim for compensation and the bank said they didn't know as another department submits claims.

I won't knowingly use these cash machines again. Still looking for how to claim off them.

Something odd with these machines

Raising my review to three stars after they returned the money taken from my account, after trying to withdraw £150 and recieving nothing. Interestingly the lady on the helpline said there was nothing they could do about it since they "weren't a bank"?? and I had to contact my own bank at 11pm to start a "link discrepancy investigation". After having just posted a one star review though, I've been refunded. Something odd going on here and seems lots of others have had similar experiences, I'd still avoid.

Yesterday the ATM at Shell garage Crossbank Bradford took £251.99 from my account and didnt dispense it!. The cusomer services put the phone down on me this morning. Im left with zero in my account and up to a 12 day resolution time! DONT USE CASHZONE ATM!
