Casper UK has gone under and they are…

Casper UK has gone under and they are stopping all operations in the EU. Despite the fact I've had an ongoing case with them for the past 2 months they have ignored all my emails and not helping any of their customers. Terrible company, do not buy from them.

Edit: Casper U.S. refunded me for my faulty mattress. I can't really fault them for now after a lengthy procedure so I've upgraded my review from 1 to 4 stars.

Awful mattress

Bought a new mattress just under a year ago, was fine for 6 months but lost support in the last few months. Tried contacting support as you would expect a brand like Casper to want to assist their customers if their product is not up to scratch. Was told no one can come out to see the mattress and I have to take pictures of the problem. Of course, the problem has to be felt and not seen so got nowhere with them and now stuck with a mattress which is leaving me and my husband with excruciating back pain

Awful Experience

My entire experience with Casper is best described as miserable. I ordered the mattress and it arrived in a speedy 3 days. My wife and I used it for about a week and woke up nearly every morning with excruciating back pain. I emailed Casper support to start a return process. The same day I get an email from a representative who said she spoke on the phone with me (not true and a little weird, but ok) and sent me a list of questions that I then filled out the same day. I also included a charitable organization in my area that would accept mattress donations.

Four days later, I still haven’t received a response and I email them back. No reply. Two days later, I call them and they say I’m still within the 5-7 day time window to get a response. Nine days after that call, still no reply. I call them and they mention the representative who first emailed me was on vacation, hence the delay. They initiate the return and schedule a pickup with a junk pickup service the next day. After helping the serviceman load the mattress in his trailer, he tells me I should receive a receipt in less than five minutes. I never receive one. After several hours, I make yet another phone call to make sure I get the receipt so I can get my refund from Casper.

Forget the fact that Casper could have easily transferred my return to another rep who was not on vacation, but they also used a junk pickup service after I explicitly provided them a charity they could have donated the like-new mattress to. It appears they couldn’t care less about the environment because it’s very likely this mattress ended up in a landfill along with my trust in Casper and the whole bed-in-a-box movement. My advice? Go to a mattress store and try out mattresses there. Think twice before buying from Casper or any bed-in-a-box with rave reviews that are, according to some reliable sources, paid reviews. And fun fact: Casper doesn’t allow users to leave reviews on their business Facebook page, so this review is going everywhere else.

Terrible experience

Terrible experience - we purchased 2 lights for our daughters at considerable cost.

Both charging stations have now stopped working (months apart and we used the 1 working charger for both).

Contacted Casper for support as this is obviously a fault (to happen with both devices).

Caspers response is that the devices are now out of Warrenty (they only come with 6 months) and Casper are leaving the uk market.

£89 per kids lamp - useless after a year

The mattress is comfortable and…

The mattress is comfortable and provides a good night's sleep, but the shape of it isn't particularly refined. It doesn't fit the covering well and the corners peel up which is rather unsightly. I contacted the company over one month ago and haven't had a response with regards to this. I have no idea whether this is a one off or whether it happens often, because they haven't responded. Not ideal if you aren't 100% sure about parting with the money and want good customer service.

Fantastic

Fantastic quality, just bought the one to see what it was like and both my dogs fighting (not literally) to get on it. The fact that it has memory foam all the way round means the dogs have a soft built in pillow. Excellent for my older dogs joints as it’s so comfortable, tried to order another one in the same colour and size but they had none left. Highly recommended.

Dog bed is cheap regular foam. Not worth £100+

Dog bed is in no way worth the price. It’s standard cheap foam not memory foam and the cover can only be washed on cold so not hygienic. Have been trying to return since February and after number (over 20) messages they still haven’t sorted the return despite me alerting them within the specified 100 day. Now I’m stuck with a rubbish product and a huge dent in my wallet! Never buy from Casper, I’m thankful it wasn't a mattress.

Amazing products

Amazing products. We have a mattress, pillows and 2 dog beds for our spoiled cats. My partner has neck issues and since using the Casper pillow, the issues have not come back

Definitely recommend this amazing lamp!

Wonderful lamp, was very excited to get it and I started to use it as soon as it arrived.
The design is very sleek and functional. Very easy to use.
I like how simple it is to adjust the brightness and the fact that is portable.
Would definitely recommend it!

Don't believe the 100 day trial

Bought a Casper mattress in February after a lot of research. The trial period and the promises of top quality customer service from a small company convinced me to buy over many similar brands offering the same things.

The mattress is comfortable, but the positives stop there. In winter I had no problems, but come spring / summer the mattress has been unbearably hot to sleep on. I contacted customer service about this while I was still in my 100 day trial to ask if I could extend the trial through to summer to check the heat, as if it was still bad I wanted the refund option and a different mattress. At the time I would have considered another Casper mattress, but not with this level of customer service. I never heard back from Casper despite emailing and using their website message system. I contacted them on twitter and although I got a reply still no one contacted me. It's 2 months later and still no reply, and I'm out of the 100 day trial. Their twitter team says there's nothing they can do and I can't get a refund. Wish I'd never bought.
