Absolutely Amazing!!
We cannot recommend Castle Gate films enough.
We had our Wedding in July this year and chose Castle Gate Films to be our videographer.
The communication before and leading up to the Wedding was just perfect, we really felt like we had a connection with Steve before we had even met him. He was so friendly and really got excited with us about our upcoming event.
On the day of the wedding he absolutely went above an beyond to capture ever moment, from an 11am ceremony to capturing the golden hour in the evening, we could not of wished for anything more.
We received our video and photos back So quickly after the Wedding and were so overwhelmed by how amazing the video was, we truly had no idea how perfect it would be.
We would 100% recommend having Castle gate Films for your wedding, we honestly could not have asked for anything more!

We quite literally cannot fault Steve. A lovely guy and a great videographer, he has produced such high quality, amazing videos that we will cherish forever. When sharing the videos with guests, multiple people were very confused as they hadn’t even realised that we had a videographer there on the day - Steve was so subtle which was really important to us. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you so much Steve!

I cannot recommend castle gate films enough. This is a service that will let you relive your special day all over again. We were in such an adrenaline whirlwind throughout the day and to be able to watch the special moments back and reflect was truly amazing especially viewing the moments we had missed. It is one thing that you will not regret booking as castle gate capture each and every moment so well.

Steve is an amazing videographer and we can’t recommend him enough. We were umming and ahing about whether to hire a videographer for our wedding, and am so glad we did! His style is truly relaxed and he delivered our highlights video with a short turnaround time. We loved our highlights video so much we actually asked him to give us more footage of our wedding day! We love sharing our wedding video with friends and family, everyone who watches it gives high praise to Steve’s work.

We are absolutely amazed at how stunning our wedding video is, and cannot thank Steve enough. He was a pleasure to work with on our wedding day and made everything feel so fun and natural. What Steve has produced has really left me speechless! I can’t wait to watch it over and over again. 😍

Steve recently captured our amazing wedding day. It was lovely having Steve film our wedding. He is so calm and ensured the atmosphere was relaxed on the day, just how I wanted it. Steve communicated so well with us from the lead up to the wedding, the actual wedding day and afterwards too. The video Steve put together for us it absolutely fantastic and everyone who has watched it says the same. I would recommend Steve to everyone I know! We were so pleased that Steve was able to video our wedding. From the first moment we contacted him he made everything as simple and as easy as could be. He was really helpful, understanding and nice! On the day Steve arrived and explained how everything would work and we were amazed at how quietly and efficiently he got on with everything! When we received our videos and stills we were blown away, it was like he had completely understood what we wanted and done it! The highlights video captured all the little bits that were truly our highlights! When we gave our video to a close family member she said she didn’t even realise we had it recorded as he was so good! The ease of downloading the videos and stills was really good too! We are so grateful to have Steve capture our wedding video. The end products were exactly how we envisaged them to be. We like the fact that everything is not staged and every moment that was captured is just natural and genuine. Seeing the videos, brings back the wonderful memories we had on our wedding day. Steve is very responsive and attentive, we had few video calls before our wedding day to make sure everything is well understood. We feel very reassured soon after we had our first chat with Steve. Steve is super friendly and easy to work with. I would say if you like the video that Steve captured then definitely go for it!

Choosing a videographer for a wedding or event is such a personal decision, wanting someone to capture the atmosphere and special moments throughout the day. Steve at Castle Gate Films was incredible. From the day we booked Castle Gate to today, Steve has been organised, helpful, easy to contact and reliable. The system to book and pay invoices is secure and easy to use so there’s no stress in the lead up to the wedding. On the day Steve was amazing, always there in the background but never ‘in the way’ capturing some amazing natural moments. Not only did Steve send through the final edits a lot sooner than I expected but he delivered above and beyond my expectations with the wedding video. Tears instantly filled our eyes watching it and it captured everything I wanted and more. I am so thankful to Steve for everything he’s done and cannot recommend Castle Gate Films enough. Just perfect!

Our wedding films are amazing, beautifully shot, creatively put together to bring out the best of the day, the guests, the bride and groom and edited with cleverly chosen music which makes for a very heart warming, emotive and memorable watch, again and again and again ! The standard and quality of the finished product cannot be faulted at any level. Steve has a really creative flair and love for his work which he executes with the utmost precision. A true professional. He is great to work with. You don’t notice the cameras filming. It’s all very discrete. The day goes by so quickly so this was a wonderful way to remind us of an amazing day.

We absolutely love our wedding video, especially all the drone footage is amazing and definitely worth having. Steve and Verity were so friendly and easy to work with and didn't intrude on our day at all. The editing was fantastic and delivered so quickly. All our guests have commented on how great the video is and it captured the day perfectly. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a great videographer!

We are absolutely over the moon with our videography. This was a last minute booking but it’s definitely one of the best decisions we could have made. Steve was so friendly and professional. Steve made the whole day so easy and natural. I can’t emphasise how great the experience with Purple Tripod was. 10 out of 10!

We decided very last minute that we wanted a videographer - we chose Purple Tripod because we loved their style of work and without a doubt, it was the best decision we made for the day. The video Steve created for us is absolutely incredible and he was perfect on the day. He worked well with our photographer and was not at all intrusive, so much so, that our guests didn't realise we had a videographer there at all! Thank you again Steve!

Trusting someone we didn’t know to capture our wedding day on video seemed like a gamble, especially after our initial choice scammed us. But, asking Steve and Verity to be our videographers was the best decision we made throughout the whole wedding, they have been totally amazing.
Steve captured special moments from the day that we hadn’t seen at the time. We’ve watched the video so many times already and each time it makes us smile. The way he edited is perfect. Everything and everyone we wanted to be in the video is there and done in such a fantastic way that it flows perfectly from one scene to another. We never expected to have such a special way to remember our big day.
From our first chat with Steve we felt at ease, the communication with him was first class and he ran through every detail with us. It’s hard to fully explain how professional Steve and Verity have been. They have provided us with a truly wonderful keepsake of such high quality at a very reasonable price. Totally amazing!!! I can genuinely say that I have watched our highlights video so many times and I cry every time I see it. The quality is incredible and has been edited perfectly. Steve and Verity are true professionals, they are highly skilled and talented. They made us feel really comfortable throughout the day and most of the time we did not even know they were there. Booking was super easy and I had the opportunity to have a call before booking to discuss details etc. The communication on the lead up to the day was perfect, I always received quick and informative responses to any questions I had.
5* really isn't a high enough rating for our experience with Purple Tripod. I highly recommend!
